Hey guys, the screen of my laptop turns on but doesnt show any

Hey guys, the screen of my laptop turns on but doesnt show any image, I have tried my laptop with an external monitor and theres no problem, what could be?

Usually that's the screen ribbon cable.

- download service manual from manufacturer
- buy new ribbon cable from ebay
- split laptop
- dismantle screen
- replace cable
- reassemble screen
- join laptop

If your laptop has a super-slim screen or a built-in Wacom, you might not be able to dismantle it, in which case you need a new one.

Most of this, but make sure it's not the backlight first, otherwise a cable won't fix shit. Shine a torch on the screen from a 45 degree angle and see if you can see anything.
