I got a router connected via cable to my PC. The wired connection

I got a router connected via cable to my PC. The wired connection is super slow but the WiFi connection works just fine.
Please advise.

Gonna use my Skeletons folder as bump material.

Clearly one of:

- the NIC
- the wiring
- an intervening switch

is busted.

It's a PITA, but move the PC right next to the router and use a brand-new ethernet cable and see what happens.

Cable works fine on my laptop, and I have scanned for viruses and updated the LAN card drivers. Still nothing. Maybe the LAN card is busted.
