Well, I'd expand a bit on #2.
People who are not lonely and spend too much during the holidays tend to off themselves when they see how fucked they are a couple weeks later. This is more common than you think.
New Year's and all brings a lot of despair too. Those who have serious problems and give themselves a chance to fix them as new year's resolutions only to later realise there is no way out of their shit kill themselves too.

I'll take note of that. This is for my data project, I'm mostly just analyzing this from a purely numerical standpoint. Part of the project is to conduct a survey to see what people think about my chosen myth.
