I have no idea what happened, I was just watching a video and I minimized it, and when I maximized it, it wasn't there. It exists on my task bar ans Alt-Tab selector, but it doesn't exist anywhere else. Pic is proof that my VLC player is hainted

restart your computer
install gentoo
uninstall
download MPC-HC
you created a virtual desktop put the vlc window there. itll keep going there until you move it back.
hotkey over to that other desktop. I left windows at XP so I don't know the keys

Alt-tab to it
Alt-space brings up window management menu*
M to move the window back on the screen
* it did this in Windows 2.0, and it still does this now

This happened to me sometimes in windows 7 & 8. I googled for something and i found help. At one point I think I just reinstalled the program.
windows key + arrows <- will snap window to the side of the screen. VLC window just isn't in the viewable area of the screen. May require multiple tries
