So, I'm gettin pretty sick of Microsoft's bullshit, and I'm planning on doing some psuedo-migration over to a TBD linux distro. However, I'm a gamer, and I don't feel like dealing with the suffering that is linux gaming. So my solution is a simple one, run two PC's. and have a KVM setup with my main hardware.
However KVM switches seem to be...pretty lackluster in type. Ultimately I'd need something like 1 DVI port and 6 USB slots. However, such specifications don't seem to exist. Apparently the tech behind a DVI switch is pretty hefty, so they're more expensive, but I can't for the life of me find a single KVM switch of any kind that has more than two USB ports. Has anyone done anything like this? Is there a solution outside of 'buying multiple KVM switches and placing my devices on each one'?
