I'm looking for all kinds of surreal, mind screw anime. Just to clarify, I'm looking for something that might still make me ask questions after I finish the anime, like with Utena, Angel's Egg, Lain or Eva (or other works by their creators). Not something like Satoshi Kon movies and series where everything is clear by the end.

Thanks, I've seen those but I can't say any of them really fit besides Cat Soup and maybe some genius Party shorts. The rest are pretty comprehendable and people don't really get confused by them.

I would go with Madoka
It's more of a non sequitur comedy, but Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei gets exponentially weirder with each season. Not quite what you're looking for, but could be a fun watch
