I need some tech support, please.
So, occasionally, when I'm playing a windowed game, such as I Wanna Be The Boshy, it will briefly "deselect" and I won't be able to control my character for a second or so. After that second, I'm probably dead but I gain control of the game again. This occur every 30 seconds to every 2 minutes. What is going on and how can I fix it? It happens for VVVVVV too.
It doesn't happen on fullscreened games, such as Nuclear Throne or Team Fortress 2.
Pic related is my PC
try changing this
Download this, run it, then run your game. It'll show what program is stealing focus.

Thank you very much, however, It turns out it was already set like that. I found pic related, which may help. "Adjust for best performance" didn't fix the problem.

You can disable it
1. Go to Start.
2. Go to Admin Tools.
3. Right-click on Services and then click Run as Administrator option.
4. After Services window opens, select Windows Error Reporting Service.
5. Double-click it with you mouse and stop the service to disable it.

Still, nothing. I did this, I restarted my PC, I disabled Windows Event Log and Windows Event Collector as well, and the only change is that when it happens, it is briefer, but still annoying.
I appreciate the help though, I really do.

Go to admin tools again and open check the event viewer, it'll show what's constantly crashing

Event IDs 1000 and 1001. 1001 seems to happen a second after 1000.
It happens on Chrome too.

Install firefox and unistall chrome. Also check your network card's properties to see if you ipv4 config is set to automatic.

It is, as well as ipv6
Well it's very late for me, and now fullscreen games kinda randomly minimize. Thank you all for trying to help, but I'm going to bed. Maybe I can sort it out a little better tomorrow. Goodnight
