Don't get a 6700k.
If you are just gaming there is no need for an 6700k. Since you wont be rendering anything.
Get an i5 6600k and a good aftermarket cooler.

So i get the i5 6600k and its the same as the i7 6700k?? Will i need to overclock the i5??? Any more details?

Intel releases Kaby Lake in the autumn, so you should probably wait until July/August so you can buy a soon-to-be-obsolete processor at the highest possible price.

You wont see a difference in gaming, you could clock it in 2 years, still get good performance. No games utilizes hyper-threading (what the i7 is all about) hence no reason to get an i7 for gaming. You could also use google.

I used it... Just need some actual opinions on the matter
>>140375
I think the i7 is a gr8 cpu, u should buy it
>>140441
Thanks appreciate all opinions still on a debate though
I have a 970 and a i5 4690 and I can play everything at high-ultra at 60fps. That said, you may want to hold off on buying a gpu just yet because of the new ones coming out soon.
