Please help /wsr/
I'm a Beginner at the whole pc building concept. I was just wondering if any of you could tell me if this PC build would work, and give me some tips on maybe an alternative part to pick.

Seems like a pretty neat little system. Should give you 60 fps on medium settings in most games.
Most people nowadays don't need CD drives, unless you have a big dvd collection or something.
AMD will be launching a new line of graphics cards in June that are rumored to be between $200 and $300 with great performancer per dollar, so you might want to wait and see what they come out with.
Nvidia also just launched their new graphics cards, which seem to be out of your price range, but they could launch a gtx 1060 very soon in the $200-$250 range that will murder a 950.
Since This is the only computer related thread on /wsr/ at the moment, I'm going to hijack it for my question.
I already posted it here: >>>/g/54818494
Basically freezes when system is on a low work load. Ran every diagnostic I can think of and no problems have been found.

Blue screen freeze? or frozen image freeze?

Sorry was away. Frozen image freeze. Sometimes it automatically restarts.

Why is your GPU sitting at 60c? Is it under load when you took that pic?

Yeah that was during Witcher 3 game-play actually. Highest I've ever seen it go is 72c. Here is a (mostly) idle speccy.

Ran computer for about 3 hours without problem. Hopefully fixed? Too early to tell.
