What are my options if I want a fun, 3D, singleplayer action game focused on melee combat, but only have a PC and absolutely hate both DMC and AssCreed/Batman: Arkham style combat, the former for complex button combos required for any attack other than a basic slash, and the latter for "press parry to instakill an enemy"?
Basically what I want is a game that has combat with relatively simple controls (perfectly, it should control like a regular FPP/TPP action game), but requires a decent amount of skill (more in terms of reflexes and reaction time than anything else) to get good at at the same time?
To give you even more closure, think Bloodborne, but for PC.

Yes, I have. It's still too much like DMC for my tastes, unfortunately, especially with stuff like using a button combo to parry an attack.

I've already played it, too, but forgot to mention it. It would've been perfect if the rest of the game, outside of combat, wasn't so bland, empty and uninteresting. I really tried to like it, but I just couldn't.

Which one do you have in mind? I've played TW1, skipped 2 and then played a bit of 3. In both TW1 and TW3 the combat was atrocious. Is TW2 any better in that regard? If yes, is it worth playing if I don't remember literally anything from Witcher 1's story and don't have a savefile from it?

I'll try, but it'll most likely run like shit because my PC isn't really emulation-friendly (both CPU and GPU are AMD).
