My speakers have been working fine for like five years. Today I booted my computer and suddenly my speakers aren't being detected by my computer at all.

Check if they're plugged into the right port, try diffrent ones.

Like I said, they have always worked. I did replug them and try different holes, no luck though.
Did you try headphones in the same port or another speaker set to test if it's anything with the computer?

you could try going to control panel, device manager, sound video and game controllers and right clicking on the device and choosing uninstall (make sure you do not tick the box to delet the driver software)
then reboot your pc and it will reinstall the device automatically (unless it is the driver that is the issue)
