what is this from? Can someone please tell me
>>905684
Read the filename. It is from the video game King's Quest V and that piece is "Dark Forest and Witch Medley".
The composer "Mark Seibert" is someone that did a ton of music for "Sierra Entertainment."
>>905715
Edward Scissorhands Main Title
Avconv seems to be automatically applying fade-in from black in some cases and I can't figure out how to stop it.
>>891224
sounds similar to music from the rox game heh

It uses more than one song from the movie.
>Danny Elfman's most beautiful work can be found on the Edward Scissorhands soundtrack. This video edits together many different tracks from that soundtrack - Introduction, Storytime, The Tide Turns, The Final Confrontation, The Grand Finale and The End. I've labelled them as various for ease of reference as sometimes only a few seconds from a certain track was used.
You gonna get adorabled.

Whores never went anywhere. Industrialization replaced starving children with overworked suicidal children with lung cancer and Imperialism is a symptom of power, not an economic system.
posting what I posted in the wrong thread
>>905961
Second part of that song from the studio version.
The original video has a lot of intentional artifacting. Don't blame the bitrate.
>>910736
Heh, the presence/absence of the webm preview in the file selector changes depending on the file name. Weird.
You guys did this to me. Comfy is all that keeps me going, OC btw
>>900195
You could've done better anon.
>>897376
Can't find anything on this. Sauce please?
>>906109
Not bad but I was expecting "drop" more like in songs from Caravan Palace or in Melbourne Bounce style...
Here's something neat, I've seen each of these separately, but never all in the same music video with an actual arrangement. I'm upping a poor quality shortened version, so here is the high quality source:
https://vimeo.com/111593305
>>915220
There's too much of that in music. The genre is getting more predictable to the point where you can have 5-8 songs and they will pretty much cover the entire range of the genre.
>>914671
What is this ear rape?
>>907547
>tfw spent hours on getting vp9 encoding to work on my avconv and then tinkering with the settings only to find out that 4chan only allows vp8 encoded webms
Goddamnit, Chinese moot!
Anyway this is how it sounds with the audio at 22.5 kb/s

why did you even fucking bother?

sorry that the video's a little weird, I'm also posting this for muh crossboard meme team, but seriously MONDO BOYS made some great mashups.

I only played the 2nd game and around the end of the 2nd act I literally was yelling at how bad the fucking game was. If dead space ! is anything like the beginning of number 2 I'll play it but I fucking HATED the conclusion of the 2nd, way too many regenerative enemies and action sequences.

I liked 1 and 2 was a good bit meh. I don't recommend playing them out of order like that. I don't even remember much from 2 for some reason, but I remember 1 a lot.

You should get yourself a gaming router.
>>930383
The music is just so good that it lingers with you longer than normal.
But seriously I think it's to do with the fact that I set the video frame rate to 0.1 which affects how the player handles it. Something something temporal resolution.
>>930873
* some player anyway
For me, Firefox stops playing immediately, but when I tried setting the frame rate lower initially and looked at the result in Totem, it would show the file as hours long with everything fine up to the point I told it to stop encoding and then silence afterwards.
>>930005
are you referring to the webm i posted?
For some reason i cant make this into a webm so ill post the youtube link. Hate that every pomf.se clone is either 50-100mb and every online converter is adshit
https://youtu.be/Ck6wwqQlr8w
>>930867
It has nothing to do with those.
>>930887
I'm using Firefox too. MPC-HC won't play them at all and VLC is fine (which is rare.)
>>931035
Use this,
https://gitgud.io/nixx/WebMConverter
It needs this to run,
http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Main_Page#Official_builds
Most of the webms ITT were made with this.

I don't think she's meaning to go anywhere.
>>895420
Welp, I've just came from the pure nostalgia.
>>929991
DS 1 was much more Brutal than the 2nd one, that's why you remember it.
>>906012
>poopy
>french
heh
>>907547
>blaarhrgargarr
>>933259
In the far off shots she's actually putting the oar far too much below the water line. That you are only supposed to sink just enough of the paddle under to be no more than half it's width under the surface. This allows easier extraction of the paddle while giving you maximum thrust. This lets you row for longer amounts of time without getting tired and allows you to row much faster.
But, yeah as >>934126 states, she's rowing and trying to stay in frame. It is about the song, not the rowing after all.
>>934217
It may also be that is was my first experience with it. Though, I don't remember it being very brutal at all. I played the PC version on the hardest difficulty and never once died. It was more of a struggle for ammo than anything if I recall correctly. But, I go slow and take my time with most things and think them through from a game developer's perspective. Which often times id the easiest approach, but sacrifices some of the "fun" other people get with their play styles.
>>916187
Pretty good. I liked it.
>>895349
10/10 would bang
>>895420
i can look at this for hours
>>905147
Was kinda bummed to find out your other track was only 50 seconds long.

I've think I've posted this already a while back ,but I've managed to deleted the old version and that was shorter.

>>937514
Sorry, wasn't the one who actually posted the first one.
The band is Leningrad, but what clip that's from I've no idea.
>>937720
Thanks friend.
I counted and I've posted literally half of the webms ITT.
Ya'll niggas need to step it up.
PS. If anyone knows how to make avconv/ffmpeg to crop and scale at the same time, let me know.
>>938442
Forgot my webm
>>916187
neat
>>938442
-vf "crop=in_w-2*NUM_PIXELS:in_h-2*NUM_PIXELS,scale=X:Y"
2*N for the crops because you want to take N off of each side, X or Y in scale can be -1 for auto size based on same aspect ratio.
>>929538
The entire point of the finale of Dead Space 2 was to represent how overrun the station was, and how you letting in the Necromorphs had consequences. It's frustrating, stressful and frightening.
That being said Dead Space is similar but not identical, there is a regenerator sequence, but it's roughly in the middle of the game.
>>938442
Use "WebM for Retards". It has a GUI and everything. Just click click and you have your webm. Cropping and trimming use click and drag or increments.
>>940131
Part 3 looks quite a bit different. I may give it a try.

The first one wasn't a complete failure.
You could still unmute it by right clicking or by maximizing/opening it in a separate tab.
Finally got a result I'm happy with. I think.
I like when the webm comes under 4MB straight off youtube.
>>950033
My biggest pet peeve is when I get an "audio stream is too large, reduce the bit rate or trim the video" error when there's no audio stream, the audio stream is at lowest bit rate (45), or the video is small and only 30 seconds long.
I think it has to do with some encoding error either from youtube or the video source. If I re-encode it with another program then turn it into a webm, it is fine.
>>950091
woops audio didnt come through

Was pretty happy with the 2:22 version of this webm until I realized that was using vp9 and vp8 even at 1:55 looks worse.
Incidental multikulti propaganda aside, they're a pretty ebin band.

alt+0153 = ™
>>957280
4chan will most likely never allow vp9. Something new will come along and it will switch to that and webm will fade into obscurity like gif is doing and no vp9 will ever happen on 4chan.

Yes
