New Zootopia thread

If you want a certain clip from the movie, let me know and I'll upload it whenever I find the time. The shorter the clip the better the quality within 720p resolution.
Movie can be downloaded from torrents.

Probably DVD extras.

It's confusing since she speaks with an African accent.

Do you have the scene where Nick talks about his past of wanting to be a boy (fox) scout, OP?
>>1138863
No one cares about your furry shit
>>1139900
she also did the anthem for the soccer world cup when it was in South Africa
SHE ISN'T EVEN AFRICAN
>>1140738
Just because I become obsessed with a movie doesn't make me a furry; I was obsessed with Big Hero 6, once, but the novelty wore off. The same will happen with this movie.
>>1140207
The longer the scene, the smaller the resolution.
>>1140738
You seem to.
I'm confused and curious. Do you people legitimately enjoy the film or are furries & masturbate to it?
>>1141693
OP here; I find the movie enjoyable and relatable.
I'm also impressed with what Disney can do when it comes to animating.
>>1141693
I'm admittedly both. Don't fap to the film but I have a fair bit of Judy/Nick porn. I also find it amusing how many people who aren't furries go see the movie and come out wanting to fuck one or more characters.
can someone give me a nutshell explanation of the plot/themes of this movie and tell me if/why I would want to watch it as a male in my late twenties?
why is this even on 4chan, an 18+ website?
>>1141746
It's good, that's why.
Bunny wants to be cop, but there's never been a bunny cop. She does so anyways, must overcome racism both against her and perpetrated by herself to solve a big case. Wins respect, adoration, happy ending because Disney.
>>1141750
is the fox her husband or love interest? what is his situation?
>>1141751
the fox is not her husband, but is possibly a love interest. it's not explored in the film. he primarily performs the foil character to the "good cop" that the bunny is.
>>1141775
or just two characters who find some level of attraction between each other. having two characters flirt is not uncommon even in one-shot films.
that said, I wouldn't be surprised if they made a second.
>>1141775
I'm sure Judy and Nick are strictly platonic... I hope it's platonic.
>>1141797
yes an no. her reaction could go either way: she could be embarrassed that they hit on the truth or she could just be annoyed with their prying.
also, I don't recall seeing anything like that scene in the movie, or any of those other storyboards, so I'm guessing they were scenes that were cut
>>1141793
it was never intended to focus on any shape or form about romance so that it didn't become the stereotypical setup that's so overdone
besides, the director is gay, if anything, he might have thought about having a gay protagonist in there somewhere
disney most likely thinks it's a little too early to let that happen
>>1141775
The film made well over a billion dollars worldwide, so a sequel is all but guaranteed. The actual team behind it haven't decided on where Nick and Judy will go; as of now they're good friends, some members of the team want them to have a romance, others don't or at least don't care.
>>1141812
Fun fact: Judy's neighbors, Bucky Oryx-Antlerson and Pronk Oryx-Antlerson, are voiced by the directors and commonly believed to be a gay couple.
>>1141817
At least Bogo doesn't.
>>1141693
I, for one, enjoyed the film. The feels, animation and complexity of the world the animators created were amazing.
>>1141693
I love it, as a minority it stuck with me deeply
>>1141662
Thanks for delivering
>>1141662
Damn... hurts to watch that. That rejection, such a shame. I was a scout irl.
>>1141743
Must be similar when Space Jam came out.
>>1140785
Colombian.
>>1142473
That didn't warrant a correction.
>>1143980
cute
>>1142008
This was a pretty accurate representation of my experience with the scouts. Bunch of bullies and brats and salmon polo wearing dads trying desperately to hang onto the last shred of masculinity their harpy wives hadn't ripped off of their undercarriage. Plenty of people got good out of it; I just wasn't one of them.
>>1141693
It's a legit good film. It tries a bit too hard to be culturally modern and relevant, so I don't think it'll age well, but it's a solid crime thriller with fun characters and rock solid animation from Pixar.
>>1144094
>>1142008 here
I'll admit there was quite a few brats and hooligans, but after a year or two, most of them dropped out or just didn't show up for the training sessions.
I guessed it was the increased training or the responsibility as a senior in the later years that encouraged them to give up.
Thankfully, the troop leader was suited for the job.
Fucking hell... after watching the movie and clips of it several times, due to making gifs and webms, it's making me interested in becoming a cop... and have a desire in doing research on animal intelligence, as well as animation.
Fuck you, Disney.
>>1144058
Do you have a gif of when Judy smacks her head on the table when Flash tries to tell the other sloth the same joke.
>>1144274
I just left for work not too long ago; I'll make it when I'm back home.
>that moment when you haven't seen the full movie but still want to ___ the bunny
>>1144405
Eviscerate?
I'm kidding.
>>1141746
I enjoyed it because it had a classical mystery/detective theme, you know, going from one lead to another, that sort of thing.
>>1144274
I want to fuck the bunny
>>1145798
Oh, shut the fuck up.
i wanna fuck the bunny

>>1145798
Yes we all want to fuck the bunny. You don't need to say it in every thread, it's implicitly understood. Just imagine people giving you a nod of understanding when you post a webm of Judy being a qt.

The movie was fun to watch. But I want to fuck Hopps and I also don't want to fuck Hopps. I think I just want to fuck her personality, but stuck in a short, cute young womans body who happens to have a nice waist to hip ratio.
>>1147049
Same
>>1141775
Not sure if spoilers works on this board, but end of the movie spoiler
...
...
...
Fox says half-jokingly: "You know I love you." to which bunny says: "Do I know that? Yes. Yes I do." and then nothing more about that subject in the movie. So maybe they love each other romantically, or as best friends, who knows?
>>1147055
I think Enji Night in terms of body shape, but shorter, and more of a babyface would pretty much be Judy Hopps IRL.

I dont have the appropriate nods of approval image to respond to this.
What the fuck is wrong with me? I've been straight my whole life and I've never felt even a bit of attraction to any real or fictional male, but after seing zootopia I found Nick really cute/handsome and now I can't stop thinking about hugging him, etc. Is this happening to anyone else?
>>1147187
Fox's are cute animals, and Nick was damn cute as a kid. Nothing gay to want to hug cute.
>>1147229
Yeah, you're right, I liked his personality the most, and I'm the opposite of it, so that might be why I like him the most.
Perfect thread reaction.
>>1147187
Gratz on discovering your gay furry tendencies.
This happens every fucking time anthropomorphic animals make it to a TV screen.
Fell asleep; gonna take a break from this just so I can decide what to work on next.
>>1145523
this scene made me cry
>>1139900
If only they could have had her sing Baba yetu.
>>1148202
Man, I love how her ears flop down or erect, displaying her mood. :^)
>>1141693
It's weird. I used to be kind of obsessed with sex, but after watching this, my desire disappeared. I've finally made peace with the modern world.
I also don't think that the movie is as timely as people think it is. The predator/prey dynamic is infinitely adaptable, and human beings will always be dividing themselves into self/other.
>>1141693
its genuinely a good film.
>When 95% of this thread is the same person replying to themselves.
Could you do a webm of the scene where Finnick drives off while rap is playing?
>>1141693
I like how Disney decided to mock themselves a bit with this movie, like how Chief Bogo, tells Judy, like is not an animated musical cartoon where after one song and dance number all of your problems are solved and you insepid dreams come true...just let it go.
Also had some nice gags, like the weasel selling bootleg disney films and breaking bad references.
The Godfather bits were a bit cringe, but are actually critical to the plot...so yeah, I approve even if most kids or teens aren't going to get it.
>>1141746
Basically it's a detective movie where apparently the predator animals are going savage for some mysterious reason and thus starts a race war.
Basically it's the Reagan administration using coccaine to destroy black communities and starting the war on drugs to distract the masses.
>>1141751
Informant/unwilling partner to help solve the case since she's got proof that he's commited tax fraud and is using it as leverage against him.

I know nothing about this movie but that was adorable
why do people hate this movie?
>>1149407
Attracts furries.
>>1149407
Mostly for this scene actually, and the racism scene before that.
I didn't feel like it was natural character development as Judy was pretty comfortable around Nick and seemingly predators in general. She also just hears what the scientist said and just goes with it, it's pretty unprofessional and I feel like any cop even if they were racist would have known to not be a blabbermouth.
It was a bit forced, there wasn't much buildup to it and then Nick just ends up brushing it off super easy. Feels like the movie had to cut some development because of time, I mean the whole movie is a bit compact I feel like it could have used another 10-20 minutes.
Also the cops being completely unprofessional. And how they don't apparently use traffic cams. One of the big plotpoints of the movie is someone is hiding the feral predators, and they catch it on the traffic cameras, and apparently the Zootopia cops don't use traffic cameras even when their colleagues are being almost murdered, and don't even use them to corroborate a story.
It screams of gross negligence and is also a plot hole in and of itself. If these traffic cameras are everywhere, and used by the heroes to solve the case in a matter of minutes, why the fuck don't the much more experienced cops use them?
Also the whole citywide surveillance thing is a bit dystopian.
I liked the movie, but it was flawed and pretty blatantly shelling out its message.
requesting some flash goodness. It's probably been done to death but hopefully OP has some stashed away ready for easy uploading
>>1149540
That's implying I've had an entire collection of Zootopia gifs and webums before posting this thread.
I'm making the fucking collection; I'll see what I can do later.

People still give a shit about furries.
can anyone post the scene where Nick Roasts the shit out of Judy?
The one right after she catches him self the Pawpsicles.
>>1149407
I came to hate it simply because of insufferable retards who felt it necessary to constantly flood practically every thread on a board on a daily basis with images/webms while professing their desire to fuck an anthropomorphic rabbit.
An overbearing fanbase is bad for any piece of media, but the shit I've seen in response to this movie takes it way beyond the next level.

Its not a Pixar film. Its Disney Animation Studios. Pixar is a totally separate entity, just owned by Disney.
Hey OP, I'm looking for the scene at the end of the movie where nick says "you know you love me". Then they catch flash speeding. Do you have that?
Do you have the scene of younger Judy, as she was walking out of that theater at the start of the film, talking to her parents?
>>1143505
I swear i was cringing so bad when this scene came on, I was seriously expecting him to do a runner with the pen
>>1145512
That elephant is voiced by John DiMaggio, btw.
>Judy can reach the floor
I just realized the bullshittery here; I would have thought they would have equipment that allows smaller mammals to use vehicles used for larger mammals.
