Thunderbirds. 1960s show with vehicles, military music and explosions. People of all ages still try to watch it. Gerry Anderson's best works.

>>1063338
Giant Ant-man made that film. Holy shit so much fun.
>>1063324
This is really weird and I don't know why.
This looked much better with VP9 encoding...
From The Wolverine.
>>1069297
How the fuck did you make that 3.97MB?

G.I. Joe: Retaliation
>>1065409
Man I wish this had been the actual music. Reminds me of how every so often True Blood would take the piss and play something out of place at the end of an episode.
spoiler for 10 Cloverfield lane
>>1072007
What a weird film that was, I couldn't help but be a little disappointed.
>>1072075
Yeah the acting wasn't incredibly well done and there were a few points where I went "why the fuck would you do that instead of X" but the plot twist got me good, I was laughing after I finished it because I really didn't expect that shit to happen
>>1072391
Should I ask what the plot twist is, or should I watch the movie and find out for myself?
>>1062516
source? I like this.
>>1072400
>>1068461
awesome. best show in all history.
>>1072394
If you find out the twist, there is no point in watching the film imho. I've tried to watch it twice, it just isn't one of those movies you could watch multiple times because of the twist (Shutter Island you can watch multiple times and enjoy, even if you've seen the whole thing already).
If you do want to know what the twist is, I can make a webm for you, though I really recommend just going to watch the movie if that's what you were planning to do, it's not that bad.
>>1072461
Alright, thanks. I've started watching the movie now.
Is it a horror or a thriller, or something completely different?
>>1072462
Thriller through and through. Hope you enjoy bud
>>1072481
Is the quality shit because of the length of the webm, or the source file?
>>1071598
I watched one of those in theaters. Literally nauseating because of how they switch between cameras frantically.
>>1072476
Okay so I just finished the movie.
What was the plot twist? Howard was right all along?
>>1072550
Nah the twist was that part after the webm I posted
if you already knew what was coming then it doesn't come as a surprise, but watching it only from seeing the trailer and having seen Cloverfield, it was pretty funny, lotta people were laughing in the theater I was in
>>1072810
>It means "more" please

Mr. Dryden: Lawrence, only two kinds of creature get fun in the desert: Bedouins and gods, and you're neither. Take it from me, for ordinary men, it's a burning, fiery furnace.
T.E. Lawrence: No, Dryden, it's going to be fun.
Mr. Dryden: It is recognized that you have a funny sense of fun.
>>1073048
The Last Ship, a TV series.
>>1074031
Damn, sauce on this?
>>1062418
Fuck Quentin Taratino and his selfish, shitty idea of what makes film good. He's just a fucking foot fetishist with a persistent desire to make films.
YOUR WELCOME. Who's giving me a handy?
>>1074936
Thank god i didn't see this shit in theaters
>>1074819
Master and Commander. Fucking great film.
>>1074949
Are you threatening me?!
>>1074910
That's the one with the roller coaster that kills people and spits out their bones.
Does anyone have the Civil War post credit scene with Spiderman?
>>1063346
If you were filming that in a theater, fuck you, you obnoxious twat. If you just saved it, fuck you anyway.
>>1069221
Acting
>>1061965
>>1062855
these are great but they made the classic blunder of having too shallow a depth of field. They should have bathed it in tons of light then stopped down the lens to f/22, so the foreground and background and sharp throughout.
When people see shallow depth of field on a large object they instantly think miniature, it's just the way the mind works. That's why tilt shift photography does what it does.
>>1075759
i've actually never seen the first and maybe 2nd episodes
>>1074880
why arent you making films that indulge your fetishes...

Transformes Dark of The Moon guessing by how good the CGI is
>>1078548
I'm actually amazed by how stupid everything tech-related was in that episode... and even more amazed to find out it was all entirely possible.
Transferring data through a power line. Building a supercomputer out of PS3s, something Stanford has done.
>>1080815
Yup, I even remember reading how the U.S Air Force bought over 1500 PS3s and made their own supercomputer.
>>1063349
There's a 720p rip of the movie out.
>>1069214
Why are there MH-53s painted like Russian helicopters?
>>1078281
Transformers Dark of the Moon using Apollo 13 Tom Hanks Movie Footage LOL
>>1081023
Do you mean actual Apollo 13 movie footage or are you getting confused with stock NASA footage that anybody is entitled to use?
>>1072396
mofuckin Hardcore Henry
>>1081046
The space footage is from Tom Hanks Apollo 13 cause the panel is missing as it is flying past the moon.
>>1062893
>Fallout Lore.webm
>>1081080
Yeah I don't think that's Apollo 13 footage, the CGI looks too new.
If you want to prove me then wrong go for it and watch Apollo 13 again and show me.
>>1073990
deleted scenes like those would have made C3-PO a lot better imo
>>1081097
Scene from Apollo 13 Tom Hanks
https://youtu.be/nwOhTnEYbqU
Scene flipped & reversed for use in Transformers Dark of the Moon for Apollo 11 scenes
>>1081164
They are not even similar, are you joking? First of all the LEMS legs are locked into place in the Apollo 13 shot and not in the Transformers shot.
>>1081154
What movie
>>1081172
Captain Horatio Hornblower
>>1081169
Didn't notice that on first glance then maybe from an Apollo 13 trailer or TV Spot then I guess.
>>1078550
Person of Interest, "SNAFU".
That looks interesting.
>>1081201
Or maybe it turns out that if you show the same rocket from the same perspective the results look similar.
>>1061965

One more Hornblower, for now.
But I'm reading the Hornblower series, and really liked the movie. Do you guys have any other recommendations in this genre? I want to see more of this, I really like this naval seafaring adventures.
I've seen Pirates of the Caribbean and Master and Commander, as well as the Korean and Dutch "Admiral" on Netflix.
Any others?

>>1062877
"Doctor, would you care to assist me in performing surgery on a torpedo?"
"Fascinating..."
>>1083001
Not a movie/TV recommendation, but since you've watched Master and Commander and you're reading Hornblower, you might also enjoy the Aubrey and Maturin books by O'Brian.
>>1083014
Nice. Looks to be pretty recent I can't believe I haven't heard of it before. Hope it's fun.
>>1084272
Yeah, I actually got Master and Commander and Post Captain waiting for me on my bookshelf. I'm about to finnish Commodore Hornblower, so I might hop over when I finish Lord Hornblower to mix things up.
Definitely heard good things about the series and I wish the movie was followed up on.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_3_cluster
>>1088167
>Even a single PS3 can be used to significantly accelerate some computations. Marc Stevens, Arjen K. Lenstra, and Benne de Weger have demonstrated using a single PS3 to perform an MD5 bruteforce in a few hours. They say: "Essentially, a single PlayStation 3 performs like a cluster of 30 PCs at the price of only one" (in November 2007)[23]
So if I hook up a ps3 to my computer it'll be like 30 computers? Why am I just hearng about this

Why do people act like complete morons in films like this? Where's the instant reaction from him pulling out a gun? Where are the screams when she's shot? Everybody just acts like he said something rude rather than murder a poor skeleton.

I wish they'd got an adult to swear like this in the show. I don't think I've ever heard Don say anything worse than "bullshit"

Testing my first webm
Spoilers for Cap: Civil War if you haven't seen it
>>1091006
That "spoiler" is already in the comics, you can literally spoil the next 4-5 avengers movies just by reading up on that guy whatever his name was
>>1061981
is this the Anno Hideaki movie? looks meh
>>1091011
>That "spoiler" is already in the comics
You don't actually think comic book movies adapt comics accurately, do you?
>you can literally spoil the next 4-5 avengers movies just by reading up on that guy whatever his name was
Right. Just like we all knew Crossbones was going to kill Captain America at the end of Civil War. Oops! He dies in the first scene.
>>1061965
Too comfy. This is the most beautiful scene John Hughes ever created. Doesn't really fit with the rest of the movie but whatever
