Post otherworldly, mysterious wallpapers which pulls yourself personally out of the current moment in reality. Wallpapers which just by looking at you could forget everything around you and imagine yourself in that image, being in that place.
If you have enough imagination, you can also tell us what do you feel when you look and dive into the picture. Maybe what you could also hear or smell in that place.
I'd imagine this place being deadly silent and still. It would smell fresh like ocean, be a bit chilly too. The water is not actually water but glass and my steps would echo into the distance, when I walk on it. It feels quite eerie when I look at the image for longer.

I could hear the grasshoppers. It's really warm and damp atmosphere.
>>6564854
Silence. Distant noises of the horse carriages. A bit spoiled smell of sewer water.

i think you're going a bit too balls deep but sure
this was one of my first wallpapers i got from /wg/ and it fascinates me
maybe it's the clutter or the unusual nature of the whole thing but i do like making up scenarios in how such an image could come from

also - that's a cave so it'd be more like water dripping and echoing
One of my all-time favourites.
childhood memories of walking in the snow with my parents...man I used to love snow
Does anyone have the image of a robotic octopus serving drinks to a pair of old-timely deep sea divers?
My absolute favorite pape

THANK YOU, KIND SIR.
I had a dream this morning with an ineffable world. With some editing, I can create that world from this.
All images have stories, here is my favorite. His mossy, dirt stained humanoid hand marking his presence. An all natural, beautiful, "I was here".
>Deus ex machina

Not the OP but you clearly don't have imagination to begin with, mental illness and imagination are two whole different things

>that fish floating over the barstool
lmao
Deadly, yes. Silent, maybe. Fresh, probably not. Chilly, most definitely.
It's quite cold, the wind is chilly but quiet. Metallic scent on the air due to all that blood.
It's kinda chilly but not uncomfortable, smells like coffee and cigar smoke. The only sounds are the TV static and the record player playing some jazz.

Where does it come from ?

Almost completely silent. The soft hum of the street lights, and the panting of dogs. The air is still, and I can hear muffled voices, talking inside their homes. I can feel my own heart beat through my chest as I walk the streets alone, wishing morning hadn't come so soon.

Just a hue change. The water was blue in my dream but I haven't got to that yet.
I'm a nature guy so this dream was perfect. There was a ceiling of tree branches as far as you could see but only one massive trunk in the center. The branches were low, about a foot above my head. In the branches there were white flowers and gold/white bioluminescent lights. I did a bit of tweaking to the land when I woke up, adding a pond, soft music and animals.
I understand the picture is a cave.

I really need to find some wallpapers with a high enough resolution to contribute to this thread.

There's this exact view from a boardwalk park in Florida, same house, same plant life on the water, same everything. Where'd you get the pic from, painted it?
