Checking IVs does not allow you to discover other deliberate illegal attributes that can be slipped in. You can force illegal ball combinations which requires you to google every ball type. You can also fabricate illegal memories which are near impossible to detect. Things such as a pokemon caught in the wild saying it remembers hatching as an egg, etc

Double check with the memory checker in Anistar/Lilycove, the IV judge in the Battle Resort/Kiloude City PCenter, and http://www.serebii.net/games/pokeball.shtml to make sure it's legal; assuming that it's not flat out HA with a Gen IV ball, or a gen V/VI pokemon with a Gen IV ball. So basically don't be stupid and do your research.

31/0/30/31/31/31 would be optimal for a special attacker since it minimizes confusion damage, but if you want a "perfect" hp ice for collection's sake it would be 31/30/30/31/31/31. I hate the latter of the two since competitively it's not perfect since it doesn't minimize your damage from confusion and the change to hp's power being fixed makes it much nicer for that. I'll gladly stick around in this thread for a bit to help people with sets if they're posted; you're welcome to ignore me and I won't get offended/care.

I put HP Ice on Volcarona since at Lv50 it won't make a difference and I have an option for another move. The Hasty not shiny Raichu had HP for it's HA but the Shiny Raichu isn't HA and fully physical so I didn't bother with a HP.
