You can simply pick a request you'd like to do and draw it or ask for requests if the ones in the thread don't appeal you. Drawcards were a thing a few years ago, but artists usually come with a simple tripcode or name instead nowdays.

Alright so this might be a bit of a longshot, but requesting Arceus as Link and a shiny mew as Navi. Just something like them in a dungeon and checking a map or holding an item above their head would suffice.

Just gotta keep going, art is all about skill and learning which techniques and strokes work best with how you hold the pen, mouse, tablet, w/e and it's all a matter of just trying new things out and learning.
You'll get there anon, personally they're not bad pieces of art by any means, lacking on some technical issues obviously, but not bad. I've certainly seen far far worse.

You're doing good, if you want any tips practice on volumes a bit more and practice on making lines more clean, use one long movement instead of small ones that overlap each other, don't worry lines take a while you just gotta force yourself into changing the way you do them, they'll start off as shaky but one day you'll be drawing and think "woah were my lines always this neat? is this even my hand??"

like pic related? that's a really good idea and all, but to make it work we'd probably have to coordinate this better, and even then it'd probably just take forever to finish. I think the reason that it looks good is because one person did the entire thing, so the poses match up and they were able to draw in pokemon where there were ugly gaps. I'd have to not only make the shape but figure out a way to make everyone's signs clearly visible while staying in some sort of scale. turnout is kind of a wildcard too so it might not even fill out the 10 fully without a lot of re-scaling and editing. I'm not really adamant or anything about keeping it how it was before but I think it was done that way for a couple of reasons. I'm thinking of adding some stuff at least in the foreground so it looks less plain though.
