Trick room is lot more common in VGC. Next is speading Paralysis (Thundy) and last is Tailwind. Speed control is the key to win double.

Usually no, especially if you run support talonflame. I like to run mine on showdown with Max HP and Max ATK with tailwind, roost, flare blitz, brave bird. Another option is to go with bulk up isntead of tailwind and Max sp.def

Use the Battle Institute in Mauville (on the right side)
It sets your Pokemon to 50 so you can put their stats into an IV calculator and get an estimate for the IV you dont know

has anyone here ever participated in any of the SVE communities? what's the minimal risk (minimal hardware investment, little to no modding/homebrew) to find your TSV and ESVs?
So I've got Liepard, Zapdos, and M-Medicham for my core team for Battle Spot Singles. Any advice what the last three should be? Tried a few different pokes, but none have fit just right. I get walled by fairies (going to try a Metagross next), and Aegislash/Khangaskhan are difficult to deal with if I don't bring a Rotom-W.

Well, I remember a while back that using battle videos would allow you to see your TSV and ESV but I haven't done it in a looong time and I'm not sure if it works with ORAS
You would also need a regular 3DS because you can't access the SD card of the new 3DS without cracking it open

There are secret bases you can add where you can challenge the owner in triple battle. Some people make their teams 3 level 100 Blisseys holding a Toxic Orb that basically kill themselves. It's the easiest and fastest way to level up your mons.
