Honestly my advice is to just calm down, maybe get some anger management help if you're really so violently angry at your art. It's frustrating sometimes yes, but being that frustrated at it won't do you any good other than maybe give you an aneurysm. You just have to find your flow.

I don't get it though. No matter what resource I use, it always feels like there's just ....stuff missing from it. I read through Loomis, and I did the spheres/blook ball stuff, and doing so I couldn't do it anymore when it got to doing three axes, X Y and Z along the spheres, because it didn't explain how I was supposed to find and plot the third axis.
Now I'm reading Michael Hampton, and literally the first thing it wants me to do is gesture drawings, and it feels like the three pages before it did nothing to explain or show me how to do them.

I'm trying to do the spheres thing in Fun with a Pencil, and I can't place the axes on the sphere because it doesn't provide me a method for finding where they're supposed to go and turn out wrong. All it provides me is that there's an X, Y and Z axis, but there's no way to find them in regards to perspective. I can't even use a visual reference because I obviously don't have transparent spheres lying around.

art isn't really like anything too technical, you don't -solve- art, and you don't just fix it like an appliance. math can be applied to it sometimes in architecture and stuff and you can use things to help build it up but it's really mostly just something you visualize in your mind's eye. it's not like something broken that you can just fix, over time through making mistakes you just learn to do things differently each time, and your art gets better, again it's very gradual. it sounds like you're just afraid of stepping into the unknown, you need to be brave in that sense anon.

Over in /padt/, we had a discussion about one of the show's ships (no, not amour, I mean an actual ship ship; pic related) alongside a discussion relating to the show's Tripokalons. This culminated at one point in at least three people wanting to see this get drawn: >>25680424
Ideally, put the ship in dressing overall (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dressing_overall and Google image search) and a World War I dazzle camouflage paint scheme. You know, because a performer has to be flamboyant.
If you have any questions or need any extra reference material (a bow-on view of the ship, a closeup, the insignia on the side of the bow in pic related, a pictoral reference of one of the "voting keys"), just ask.

mind's eye is just another word for what goes on in your head through visualising what's in your imagination or recalling visual memories.
You've likely done this sort of stuff when remembering or imaging things in life.
Say, I tell you to remind me what a coffee cup looks like and you might vaguely see or feel it would look cylindrical with a little handle in your head, it may even have a colour. A little more detailed image might form in some vague space before your eyes somewhere, as the perspective of the cup and its environment can be seen.
It's basically translating your abstract first-person viewpoint onto a canvas from any angle and any location.
