Fusion will never happen (beyond Kyurem). Pokemon's individual personalities are so important to the franchise that fusing them seems entirely impossible. It worked for Kyurem because it seems to be devoid of personality and emotion (blank eyes, expressionless face, grey color scheme).
Now Ash Greninja similar shit in the main games is all too real of a possibility. I don't think I like that idea, but only time will tell.
