Hi guys, just recently beat Alpha Sapphire, and am looking to get Giratina.
Since I only have my version specific member of the Sinnoh trio (Dialga), I need someone to lend me Palkia at least just so I can get Giratina (as you know, you gotta have both the other two with you while soaring in the sky to find Giratina's dimensional drift or whatever).

You can get the exclusive legendaries through the GTS by trading for them. Just put up some hard-to-get non-legendaries and ask for a legendary. Then trade the legendaries around until you have one you want.
If you have a Mirage Mountain with either Magby or Elekid then you've hit a gold mine. Go there with a Pokemon that has Compound Eyes (so they're more likely to hold an item) and catch a load of them/use thief to steal their items. I've traded loads of Electabuzz holding Electirizers for legendaries. Other trade evolutions work, especially the ones that require items. But Magmortar and Electivire are almost always in high demand and you're not forced to grind through the Battle Maison if you want the items (as you can get them from Wild Magby/Elekid).
One thing to note is that certain legendaries are much harder to get than others. All the event-only Pokemon are pretty much impossible to get since legit ones can't be traded via the GTS. Kyogre/Groudon are probably the next rarest since you're unable to trade them without storing them in Bank and starting a new game. The rest should be pretty obtainable though. The legendary birds and the kami trio are a bit more commonly traded, so you could try trading an Electabuzz for one of them, then trade the legendary you just received for Ho-Oh/Palkia/Reshiram.

I never really had this problem, although that might just be because I played Sapphire so much as a kid and I know the Hoenn region like the back of my hand. The towns were all distinct enough to be able to know which was which, you just needed to know what routes connected to what town.

I just got back from working a little while ago. I can trade whenever you are ready. A female would be preferred, IVs don't really matter to me until I get the natures and possible egg moves squared away. Female I think makes it more likely to pass an HA so that'd be great.

Any Yamask may be fine but the 6IVs are for someone who just wants the IVs but not Trick Room IVs. The others have a 0 in Speed specifically for Trick Room. They're just sitting there so you may as well get one that suits you better,

I'm like 15 boxes of Torchic into shiny breeding, still haven't got shit. This was MUCH easier when I did this a few months ago, what the hell happened?
