I am 308 pounds and started playing Pokemon Go on the 11th July 2016 and every day since then I have walked 5km+ and according to my "Fit Bit" done well over 10,000 steps everyday. Fixed by not using a comma (instead just a space), THEN after letting it figure out the address from the coordinates, I cancelled again and replaced it with an address. The guy on Github knows about it by now, I think.
