Ragnaros has been extinguished, but a new challenge threatens Azeroth; are you prepared? Fear not, there is still time! The gates to Blackwing Lair will officially open in late August.
Other changes - K1 & K2
After many weeks of investigation and information gathering, the admins have made some changes which will help curb potential PvP abuse on both Kronos 1 and Kronos 2. As a result of investigations, we have improved the deserter debuff. To further elaborate, the debuff will now be applied in the following conditions:
- Upon Login after being offline in battleground for more than 5 minutes
- Upon Login after being offline in battleground and the battle already ended
The deserter debuff should be added in our next update (scheduled for Monday). These are likely just the beginning of some changes that will be coming over the next few weeks/months in order to help reduce potential abuse. Our goal is to ensure that PvP is as close to "fair" as possible.

Further to the change above, there have been numerous complaints regarding account sharing with respect to battlegrounds. While we do not want to prevent players from sharing accounts with friends, we understand that account sharing can be abused in certain instances. Rather than outlaw account sharing altogether, we feel that account sharing issues should be handled on a case by case basis. To clarify, sharing accounts will not be against the rules if not abused. An example of account abuse is sharing accounts for use in battlegrounds/queing/crossfaction etc... Examples of acceptable use: assisting characters with quests, running through dungeons (if no dungeon abuse is present, etc..) Punishments for account abuse will range from warnings,honor/rank wipe,upto permanent closure of the account depending on the nature of the abuse.
