Getting to level 20 quickly is all that matters. You can use the lucky eggs you get from leveling for that when you mass evolve pidgeys and the like, 60+ evolves in half an hour. Bag space helps you evolve more. After that LVL 20+ 10km eggs are the best place to get some good shit.

Size of circle and accuracy. If the circle is pretty close to or equal to the size of the bigger circle AND you hit insideassuming the game doesn't fuck up, you get a Nice and 10 XP. If it's like 67% of the size of it and you hit inside assuming etc, Great + 50 XP. If it's like 33% of the blah blah blah, Excellent + 100 XP.

I'm wondering why some friendly gyms I can add Pokemon to and others I can't. There was a level 4 or so gym that was pretty strong, but had some weak Pokemon I could replace with my own. So I battled it, and when I could finally add my Pokemon to the gym it was the only one there, making the gym weaker. I thought it would just add to the prestige and let me add one of my Pokemon and level up the gym to 5, but I guess that's not how it works. How can I add one of my Pokemon to a friendly gym without kicking everyone else from my team out? Does everyone who takes the gym initially need to be there together to stack it with Pokemon, and after a while it closes and you can only train there or something?

Prestige level. 2000, 4000, 8000, 16000, 32000(?) are benchmarks that allow you to add an extra Pokemon. Battle the gym to increase prestige and add Pokemon slots.

Probably not. By default, gyms automatically display the gym leader (the highest-CP Pokemon) but if your Pokemon is participating in the gym, it'll display yours by default. Scroll left/right.
