The gym system is greatly in favor of the attacker since you're against an easy mode AI and you can gang up and attack them all at once with groups.
Even at a severely low level you can overtake gyms, it just takes longer

It's a waste of resources, as you gain trainer levels the max cp of a pokemon will go up meaning those "near max" pokemon you have now will likely only be about half an arc at a decent level meaning they're worthless.

Yeah that pisses me off, i really like it spec wise but that gimmicky resolution is related.. like what the fuck, not even my 24" LCD monitor has a resolution that big, putting it in a phone is even more useless that the race to have most megapixels in the camera even though the optics are shit
