I'm having a bit of a mind-blank for Fugetsu's skill tree. Assistance from you nerds would be greatly appreciated.
So far, he's getting Suigetsu's Water Release: Water Gun and Twin Water Guns techniques, as well as a cut-down version of Gengetsu's Steaming Danger Tyranny jutsu. I can come up with sword techniques easily enough, but I'm wondering if any of you guys can come up with ideas for his Boil Release.He'll have a chance to be trained by Kokuou, who is going to be asked by Naruto in his #TailedBeastShitposting IRC channel in his head, and/or Mei. Kokuou will bring up Han's Furnace Armour, in case Fugetsu wants to try something similar. So we've got Boil Release-enhanced melee attacks as well.
Girlfriend came up with like an active sensor-type jutsu, where Fugetsu lays down a thin layer of mist at ground level and channels his chakra through it, being able to feel movements in it over a large range, which I think would be a cool support tech.
What are your thoughts?

On the second turn after this jutsu is cast, the clone explodes, causing 2d20 damage to every model within 10ft of it. If Fugetsu wants, he can spend another chakra point to immediately reform the clone, and a second chakra point to begin the detonation charge again.

Definitely worth giving it a try. I'm not familiar with the tumblr or readit platforms but I've tried shilling us on r/naruto and it's horrendous. Easy to get mass-downvoted, need to covertly sneak in advertisements and there's some annoying counter that lets you post only once every 10 minutes. She doesn't really get anything haha. I don't think she even recharges Naruto's chakra. Literally all she gets is the ability to touch the Tenseigan Energy Container without dying, a power she can pass onto Naruto through the wonder of holding hands.
As I said, I never claimed she got more powerful from it, because she sure as fuck doesn't. Getting Hamura's chakra gave her no new combat abilities, no more strength, no extra damage resistance, no Six Paths powers, nothing. She got an ability to wrap the plot up, and that's it.

So Mitsuki is pretty much confirmed for being the strongest character of this generation at this moment, right? Who comes after that? I hope they finish off the chuunin exams after the recap so we get a better look at all the characters. Metal Lee's probably at the same level Rock Lee was at for chuunin exams. Shinki's looking to at least be an early contender but the gimmick will probably get old fast.

Early on, the manga was headed in a different direction. You can tell from the way the whole Zabuza arc was done. Seems Kishi and his editor decided to tone down some of the more fantasy aspects, along with tools, scrolls and stuff.
It would've been cool to see them use more tools, but seems Kishi decided to focus on the jutsu element more.
