DS3 is pretty much the least replayable game in the series and suffers way too much from being designed to cater to complete morons that have never touched an action game before. And from how Tanimura is doing the balancing yet again and is trying to apply a DS2 mentality to a game that isn't suited for it at all.

How does chip damage work in DaS1? The NPCs like the forest hunters take huge chip damage from elemental weapons compared to other players.
