The reason behind this is differing editors over the series. RB1 was done by Nobuaki Taguchi; V-II, Megatagmension and future games are done by Alex Valles; HDN, Mk2/RB2, V/RB3, PP, GekiNoire and U are done by Nick Doerr.

I currently own the first three games in the series on PS3, but I want more. I've heard Re;Birth games are generally much better than the original three, and I want to play them too. The problem is, I don't own the Vita, and my old bucket with bolts won't run neps at all.
I've seen some articles about PS TV, which you can hack so it could be used to play all the Vita games, not only the official supported ones. And as a cheaper option, I'm considering of buying a PS TV to enjoy both the remakes and the spin-offs.

I could upgrade my PC, yes, but it's a bit contradictive.
If I do this, I would be able to play many recent PC games, and also Neptunia games. But the cost of it is a bit too high for me, since TV costs $70+, and a new graphics card costs $300+. I also need to replace the fans, because the noise was killing me all along, and possibly a power supply, because the thing is old and is dying slowly.
Currently I own a cheap version of 8800. I've pirated the first Nep to test it out, I can't bear with the framerate.
But if I'll get the TV as cheap as it is, I would be able to play many Vita games on a big screen, without any worries. Even if I upgrade my PC, I won't be able to enjoy the spin-offs.
For me, it's simply comfy to use consoles, not if I was involved in the platform war.

VII Nep is perfect. The writers were clearly being a lot more measured with everyone's characterization than usual, but Neptune was the real standout. You allocate points to the Item Create system which allows you to create items in the midst of battle. These range from the standard heals to buffs. The problem is that this was the only way to heal in HDN, and the points allocated just made it a % chance for something to occur (1 point being 1%). Of course, by mid-game you could 100% the standard healing skill and still have enough to allocate a few points to the others; endgame allowed multiple (or at least 2) 100% skills.
Also, all this required materials so if you didn't have enough, it wouldn't trigger anyway.

Could be a codec pack issue. I remember hearing that Re;birth 1 and 2 had some issues if you installed something like K-Lite or CCCP.

DLC weapons are really only for the high level Collosseum matches, or the novelty ones like Big Nep's silverware. You shouldn't have to use them at all for just normal playthroughs.
