One of the files in your game directory is corrupt. It's trying to load a file into memory and running into an internal exception when it accesses it. Which means redownload it. Find the mega torrent used for nostalrius and download it through your browser, that one works and mega servers are good.

Dwarf priests are the only race which have skill called Fear Ward, which is a buff that stops next fear effect.
Since there are so much fear effects in Vanilla, and alliance don't have WotF or Tremor totem, getting dwarf priests to a raid is top priority. Human and nelf priests don't have this skill, and are far less useful than dwarf priests.

Do your progression Elwyn (12)> Westfall (~20) >Redridge (22) first. Try to keep hold of quest items instead of vendoring for instant hand-in.
Stuff in Westfall is like Okra (3), Hops (5), Flask of Oil (5), Goretusk Snout (3), Murloc Eye (3), Stringy Vulture Meat (3), Murloc Fin (8)
Don't bother about levelling crafting professions but later, horde mats if you want though in your bank.
What class you rolling?
Using a bit of gold to prestock yourself with greens can be pretty useful, check what you're not gonna get for a while and check AH.
Getting a quick VC done when you're ~18-20 can be really good for progression.
Don't forget to grab the 3 Q's in dwarven quarter for VC too.If you're not in about early levels sorry lad

Loch Modan is pretty terrible. there's a level gap from approx 13-17 where all you can do there is grind.
It's only worth doing if you really really want IF rep.
Darkshore is an okay leveling zone but most people stick to leveling in human zones for SW rep. You'll pretty much never need Darn rep unless you're a nelf looking for shave a few gold off mount training.

Levelling is all about being efficient, so don't bother with Loch or Darkshore since its unnecessary travel time.feel free to level wherever you want though, it's not a race if you don't want it to be
If you're a Warrior you always want a 2H weapon unless you're talking for a group, so always keep a shield and 1H available.
Levelling will be slower, but trying to keep yourself geared will help a lot, especially as Warrior.

Can't say about K1, but K2 is quite alive. I don't know about the peak , but I live in England and rarely ever have lag , only the occasional crash to worry about.
