+1700 from plate mastery for a whooping 2900hp.
I really want a grynas set, but it locks you into one character and takes 2 weeks to get.
What do you guys think about wasting some gems on a superior royal guard set? Seems a good idea since, well, even if I farm a grynas in the future, there will be always a alt to wear the trash set.

One of my pet peeves in this game is that the crafting rarely make any sense. In other MMO, you want to craft a plate armor the recipe calls for like 12 ores, 10 metals, etc. Light armor calls for leather, weapons a combination of wood and ore and such and such.
In this game, 15 random monster drops for whatevs. Crafting isn't that much fun in any MMO but somehow they managed to make it even more unfun. I didn't know it was even possible.
