Enemy was an Irelia player, like every solo top past diamond 3. Because Irelia is the easy hero that is overpowered but also has the easiest kit out of any solo top. Her kit does not require any mechanics or fancy plays at all just knowing that you can beat the enemy laner with your numbers or not. Such a boring champion.
Doesn't help that the only counter for Irelia's bullshit is Darius. I still bann gangplank though since he has no counterplay, I can at least go Darius and rek an Irelia player but gangplank has no real counterplay.

I don't bann free banshees man because not very many people are picking him on EUW for top lane. If he is unbanned and picked in enemy team he is even more annoying to play against than 6.12 vlad and swain.
The reason why I bann gangplank is that often I can not kill him, he'll prevent any lane control. So often it gets to the point GP just pushes tower and I get automatically behind in farm because a lot of champions don't farm that well under the tower so you get like 20-30 cs behind. GP will then dominate the game by being everywhere with his ultimate, while you're just farming. Eventually he'll outscale you and has more gold with kills and assists from his ultimate.
This happens almost every time I leave him unbanned. He has no real counterplay because often he just detonates barells, even if you don't get hit by it the bonus movement speed that GP gets makes him get away preventing any sort of all in from happening.
It's an annoying passive farm lane where you can only wait for your jungler to catch him.

Btw Malzahars passive is like banshees on steroids. Its like a banshees that lasts for 1.5 second and also reduces damage taken for 1.5 seconds by 90%.
I don't really know why Riot put that stuff in the game. It also gets back up really quickly so if you move in to proc his shield and he harasses you back you now have 60% health and malzahar will very quickly get the shield back anyway. You can't all in him at this point either because he will just ult and kill you.
Malzahar shouldn't get the current amount of damage reduction he gets on top of a 1.5 second banshees.
