The problem isn't ADC's, it's that building half tank half damage items is literally the best thing to do on any champion because the new masteries pretty much fucked things up and gave everyone too much free damage. Yea the extra ad helps, but the total armor pen was such a good general damage boost that it was an almost mandatory 3rd item. I guess I'm just living in the past where the default build was IE, PD, LW, BT, GA/Banshee. Sometimes I have trouble choosing my last item because of the 3rd crit item taking up an item slot.
