the general idea is to use it as a stepping stone into your completed gear. a lot of people run tabulas for the cheap 6 link, res and life are usually taken care of the rest of your gear. once you decide on the gems you want to run search for the colors you need, it's better than a tabula and it's 15-20c. mastercrafting is irrelevant you can easily cap all of your res and stat requirements on the 6 other pieces , 8 if you count weapon/shield

So I've gotten to this point, but not sure where to build my tree from here. Hardcore Prophecy league. Using 2H weapons, probably Mauls if I'm going to specialize more. Currently with a Marohi Erqi. Right now been enjoying Earthquake, but now that I got my Marohi, I might go back to my classic Sweep which I enjoyed, but Earthquake really is nice. Just sucks that it requires the Less Duration support to even be viable. But that is nice extra damage too.
Anyway, thinking of grabbing the nearby Maul circle and going two deep in the circle next to the Tireless circle, in order to get extra damage AND extra armor. Not sure. Also, will grab nearby jewel socket.

First build was Almost-Max Block Gladiator. I am surprised that it worked out - new unique gladius - Scaeva - is a perfect substitute for Varunastra (well, its not, but is since there is no Varunastra in Prophecy), and can be specked into a melee crit build, especially since dualwielding Scaeva's (Scaevi ?) is bloody perfect. So all in all - BoR (pity that it is not legacy one) - Two Scaevi - Immortal Flesh... and i can beat Uber Izaro (under certain conditions) and brave Uber Lab.
Second build is made around The Tempest bow, which is surprisingly good. While its not that much, almost 50k dps on a Crit Deadeye. Some might want to make it a CoC build with Spark, but i dont like that.

A great idea executed poorly. GGG standard.
My issue is that all prophecies are gated/locked by RNG. Too much RNG. And ones that are necessary to complete challenges are rare to spawn. Hell, even if first part of the chain is complete, the second one is still gated by RNG. That is most certainly discouraging.
I think that Navali should've been made a Prophecy Master. Prophecies can be bought from her for certain amount of silver coins, which in turn would be rare, but not too rare. Completing first and consequent stages of chain prophecy guarantees the availability of the next/subsequent one, provided player can afford its cost.
And the fact that upon completion of certain quest/tasks in usual game, various prophecies become available from Navali. Provided again, that player can buy them.

It's certainly not negligible with phys heavy maps/bosses. compare this to elemental mitigation which is by default 75%. poison on hit is NOT a free mod unless you have a curing flask and/or are running shit maps

because the game is absolutely shit in normal difficulty
bad clearing and running speed, leveling uniques are too rare and builds dont really take off until you reach a certain threshold(support gems, min level for something, lack of stats, enough es to spec into CI,...)
skill choices at level 1/2 are horrible for the most part since they're either useless(tendrils) or too boring to use (fireball) or both, so people get discouraged to play right from the get go
