Just do the main questline to get there the fastest. The problem you may run into is getting the points together for each quest. The secret is to play with your clock settings on your pc or console to speed up quests.
As far as accessories go, I can't honestly remember. I think things are somewhat of a random drop, but can't remember that for sure either.
