I think the biggest indicator is how good they are at non-script things. For example: I was playing Cass into Lux (this was ages ago when Cass wasn't shit). This Lux had OBSCENELY good aim, I have over 2,000 ARAMs and I've never seen anything like it, it was supernatural. However, what I discovered was that WHENEVER she landed a Q, she'd walk up and auto me once. At which point I would drop poison at her feet and begin the E-spam. Now, if this were a smurf he'd realize this tactic wasn't working and would try something else, like focusing on harass with E or not auto'ing me so obviously. Not this shitter. It does matter though. Larger parties increases the drop rate slightly; its unknown how much it offsets the successive key drops but youre all but guaranteed a key from my experience if you 5-man when your "month" resets. Its still extremely low after your second or third key; I won 6 games in a 4 or 5 man premade and i think i got one key (#3) out of it. No chests in 8 games.

Shield scales with health, shield scales with damage, double AP + hp actually makes you a lot tankier early game especially in a lane where damage is primarily physical and you don't lose a lot out of ditching the MR.
I'd switch vampirism to natural talent after it's early game buffs however. Vampirism is pathetically neglectful and you need all the damage you can get.I personally take bandit on all of my mastery pages no matter what. Yes, you should strive for perfect CS, but 1) you're rarely going to get it and 2) you're always going to harass with autos at least a little. Dangerous game is actually quite underwhelming especially on Morde who can disregard ignite in lane because shields.

The Trynd strat works with pretty much any champion that isn't a pure roamer because it captures the most important, most neglected skill of low elo players: farm.
The point of the early game is to efficiently collect and redistribute farm, every decision you make in this game before the 20 minute mark should be evaluated based on how much farm it is worth and how much farm it will cost. When you play a split pusher then you know that continuing to farm evenly with the opponent will eventually win you the game so you focus on farming while most of the other players in the game are running around trying to make plays and capture objectives and overextend for kills and get punished for it.
They'll run up and down the river to see if it will make something happen, all the while losing farm while you just sit there and accrue a small lead.
Then they'll get impatient with your boring play and try to "punish" your farming by overextending into your minion wave, which you win because a good splitpushing champion heavily punishes unwarranted aggression. Now your lead is slightly bigger.
You get back to lane and now you can push. If the enemy tries to stop you then you fuck them up, and they always try to stop you because they think you playing like a pussy earlier on was because you were weak (you were, but that's no longer the case).
Your solo pushing forces the enemy team to make a decision. Low elo macro decision making is fucking awful, they generally look at two difficult choices (try and push a 5v4 or turn to stop a split pusher) and somehow make a third decision that is even worse (send the weakest member on their team to stop the split pusher and then also lose a 4v4)

Xin isn't a CC-ganker he's a damage-ganker. He's like Kha or Yi, you don't gank to CC you gank to apply damage. If you're playing him solely for ganking and giving kills to your team then you're playing the wrong champion, there's others who do that a lot better.
You're also skirting around the invade issue. If R>E>Q>W Xin gets invaded he DOES NOT win. Not against anyone. And unlike most Junglers he doesn't have an escape, if your Flash is down you're dead, and even if your ult is up you're probably dead anyway.

I actually really love challenging games, and have Wonderful Player in Wonderful 101. I jsut can't deal with league because it's a multiplayer game and everyone is seeing me be terrible and it's about my performance in front of others, but at the same time I can't QUIT league because that would be acknowledging I'm bad at it and leaving myself to be bad at it forever and essentially saying "I'm so shit I can't even play a videogame well". Also he's very old so there's that against the increase in mobility creep and since he's so old, giving him mobility or something will make him hell.

Yeah, 40 more magic damage. Then you have no other damage because you maxed E first and Q does shit damage at rank 1.

The ideal setup for a Xin gank is come in behind them, QQ, let them blow their escape, THEN E in for the final Q. If you ever start your combo with E then you aren't getting that final Q no matter what, not in the League of Mobility.
