I stopped playing due to survivors being way too safe (I usually play as survivor, seeing people cheese it and having killers dc is no fun).
I think it improved with the recent update, definitely. The perks are now tools for survival, not a guarantee for survival. If you are still touchy, I'd wait until they change jukeshacks up a little bit with window placement, but yeah it seems like they are making progress despite their almost naive ignorance of their incompetence.

I hook people, plant a trap or two nearby and then go so far away if they time it right they can unhook them and walk, not run, away before I can get back. Use it all the time, not just when you're chasing someone. You want to be terrifyingly mobile. As soon as you see a failed skill check, sprint your ass over there and there's a good chance you'll still be able to spot scratches from scared survivors.
If you're on the junkyard it's a bit trickier but don't be afraid to run your chainsaw right into a pallet. Takes less time to destroy it than the usual way, which means less time for them to crouch-walk away and break line of sight.

im using it because this play style focuses on taking everyone to the basement, and i have had a lot of success with it. iron grip 3 might be fine, but if i took off agitation i would probbaly jsut put shadow born on.

Either the killer sucks and just gave you free pass to making 4 generators,
or you're getting owned, the killer got 2 kills in the first 2 minutes and can afford to just camp because the last guy alive is just hiding in a closet on the other side of the map. In the second, you have to get good

Well when I play killer that's who I play and its like... you're throwing away so many points for this 1 sac, its so bad. I makes me mad because its such a dumb thing to do.
As a killer it seems like the three most important things are map control, knowing when to hook somebody or leave them downed, and learning to time attacks well.
Generators on the far sides of the map can be safely ignored. All the killer has to do is patrol around 3/4 generators that are close together downing anybody working on them. Since recovery time after being downed is so long they don't have to hook people immediately able to go after others working on generators hooking others when it is convenient to do so. Well timed attacks can hit people while their jumping over windows reducing how effective juking is.
What does it mean when a game takes forever to load? Does it mean one of the players is playing on a computer from 2001?

Do little experiment as Hillbilly, charge from generator to generator trying to find people and hit them. After hooking charge next generator, unless victim gets unhooked, charge the hooked area.

You want to try and allow the survivors to get gens in such a way that the last 3 gens or so are close to each other and easily patrolled.
They can run and heal and juke you forever, but they can't win unless they get those gens and if done right, its just waiting until they fuck up and punishing them for it because they HAVE to go through you.
