That fucking d/c in the middle of champ select. Now I also have to wait 30 minutes. And it was such a good match up as well an enemy yi jungle and a maotard top. And there you go, you just beat Illaoi. Do this over and over until she dies, she only gains HP when she hits a champion with a tentacle, so just keep dodging the tentacles and fighting her when it's down. Most Illaoi's will go Cleaver first and if you're Jax, you're Sheen will provide you much more all in potential than her Caulfield or Phage. I've literally never lost this matchup and I've played it like 8 times. Also if she grabs your soul in your all in, just ignore it and keep attacking, but if she grabs it BEFORE you go in, then wait for it to wear off.

Role select removes the worst aspect of Ranked champ select where everyone had to fight for their role. Games were straight up lost with two adc's playing chicken on who would dodge in the past seasons.
Dynamic queue might be the most anti-fun thing I've ever seen added to a game, on top of being batshit retarded for the RANKED LADDER.
Losing to or with a premade of 3+ might be the most miserable experience I've ever had playing this game. They're the only times I've straight up ragequit the game in 4k+ games.

I honestly did like Starcraft 2 but not as much as I like League. I played Starcraft 2 a lot when it was just released. But the only thing that game was about was early rushes and timed pushes at certain marks. It was more about if your cheese countered the enemy their cheese and most pro games featuring protoss (which I played) were exactly that. On top of this the mirror match up protoss vs protoss just felt like gambling instead of skill which it was most of the time (does their variation of 4 gate counter mine? etc.)
The campaign of Wings of liberty was amazing. Disappointing that you could not play as other races but overall it felt very complete and something you would expect from a great title.
The multiplayer just was not really that much fun. Later on I heard there were strategies that were meta that let people go upto 4 or 5 bases but in its early days that did not happen so I just left it there, not really interested in the multiplayer.
Best RTS multiplayer to date in my opinion is warcraft 3. But it sucks at the moment since Blizzard abbandoned it leaving some horrid balance in place that subsequently killed the war 3 competitive scene.

Role select makes up the dynamic queue big time.
Nothing worse than 2 people fighting over the jungle or mid. It is not too much to ask from people to at least have a secondary role imo.

I've only played LoTV so I can't speak to the quality of the previous expansions but LoTV seems really strategically diverse.
I climbed up to diamond and the game feels like actual strategy than strictly which units counter what. Only Protoss feels really cheesy right now.
The game also feels really balanced (as a Zerg player), but in the pro scene Zerg gets BTFO because they simply get picked apart with safe, high APM mechanics like loading/unloading units between shots in early harassment.

Starcraft 2 was fuckin awesome when it came to TvZ but I swear to god every time there was a Protoss it made me want to exit the game/stream. And I played protoss twice as long as I did terran. Blink-stalker rushes just made me quit altogether

Protoss is just in a poor spot where they have tons of cheesy mechanics and no tools to actually make them good at a macro game.
For Terran you can call down mules if your workers get fucked, Zerg can remax with a batch of Larva... Protoss is just fucked. It's just unsafe to try and play a macro game of harassment because they will always come out worse in a trade.
