I've got some true or false questions for SR:
1) The best unit to give the Emperor Ring to is Natori, because it puts her to 9 Spd allowing her to get off Miko Storm 2 even faster and therefore contribute even more to your Battle Rating, and maybe even let her dodge Ninjas.
2) Even if you give them textbooks, outside of Isoroku, the entire Archer class is beyond redemption, particularly in high difficulties.

After much consideration, I don't think I like KTM. Playing the whole fucking game without Permits and without autowins like you have in the other routes just make the game drag on for too long well after it's won.

Just checking over my posts from last thread. I guess that I've figured out the Emperor items, but what about the Brute Photo and Rance's Love? I've still got no clue who to give them to. I can't think of any unit in the game who benefits significantly more than other units from a constant supply of affection.

I think I've finally got a good argument for why Himiko remains good even in 5 Star.
1) She has awesome stats, you can't complain at 7/7/7/7 and at the point where you get her, those stats are still relevant, unlike units like Nori or Kazuhisa who aren't worth it by the time you get them.
2) Monks are actually pretty damn good. In terms of base stats, they're just behind warriors and being able to heal yourself in a fight, remove Guard and start every turn with all of your troops really works wonders for you combat effectiveness.
3) Look again at her stats, that 7 Int and Def makes her an awesome tank.
4) In 5SNB, money can still be a problem when you hit the Mikos. Himiko helps a lot here by costing nothing to use,
Sadly, what makes Himiko good cripples all the other Monks. I've been trying to make Asakura Yoshikaga a good unit and that's what make me realise why Himiko is so good - just giving a Monk high Atk and Def doesn't make them good, it just makes them a bad Warrior, if you want to me a good Monk, you need to have awesome stats all round.
Pic related, I still can't make Mages good, despite being assured that they're great Foot killers, I just can't get anything from them.

The first time you use it, it makes the enemy house skip a turn (although they can still do plot shit).

I've started to realise that both units are used in exactly the same way (fire once and use up all of their Actions, hoping for an insta-kill) but the Ninja seems to get much more praise than the Musket. Why is this?

Presumably because ninjas don't need to be front row to do their job, and don't need any troop size to use Assassinate. If I remember correctly it even can ignore shikigamis. Since on an efficient run you'll just savescum best results anyway Ninja is just the best except in the rare scenarios where Assassinate doesn't work. Ninjas also provide the best dungeon skill in the game, and Suzume gives huge amounts of sat on the way to it.
I don't really have anything positive to say about musket except they aren't mages.
So guys - I'm scared. I Assassinated Shingen like 100 turns ago or something and I've yet to see a Takeda General. That means that there's a decent chance that all 4 of them are in one house.
How fucked am I if they all come to play with Omachi?

I don't think Youkais can have human commanders.
So does Yuzumi need to be introduced or something? I beat Tangeashima on the same turn that I declared war, and I never saw her until she was captured due to me conquering them.

Strictly gameplay, yes. Leila is one of the best units you can probably get. As a whole not really. Ranmaru comes free, arguably the best oda unit and immediately has use. Leila you gotta go all the way into Leazas, who you'll probably start on after getting Urza. She of course will provide valve once you finally get her, but Ranmaru is more valuable as a whole.
Unless, of course you're doing an extreme game then you'll probably just fire her for money.

Even if they are stronger than Archers, which is actually difficulty to verify, that's not an achievement - aside from Whirlwind Shot, the entire Archer class is irredeemable.

Rizna's dogshit, magic is a huge pain to get and Shizuka costs 20 points. The class itself is unbelievably slow, fragile, EXPENSIVE to upgrade and the other int fighters, divine are whole lot better. Even just random generics.
They do, save shizuka, give great sat and have some combat viability. Shizuka herself has sticky ground. They are just really fucking lacking.
I can't believe that I won this fucking fight. I didn't even know it was possible for two wives to appear in one battle (All-Guard Shiki is awesome)... I wonder what would've happened if I beat them both?
