Pretty much all of it has to be attributed to divine favor. Mesektet is the ship of Ramesses' namesake, Ra, who was the patron deity of pharaohs. The sphinx is a beast of Horus. Both the sphinx and the other beasts are guardians of the temples. Not really out of left field that they'd be there in a fantasy setting, since it's not uncommon for Egyptian temples to have various monsters depicted as symbolic guardians.
The NP seal is reaching really far, though. I can't recall it being described in detail why the temple can seal NPs other than that divine power is involved, but it's still reaching.
A reason why the temple is such a huge deal is because it's actually a bunch of temples smashed together. I suppose it's kinda like Ionian Hetairoi but with temples instead of soldiers. Since he's the King of Kings his temple gets piled on top of temples built by lesser pharaohs.
