But it's still stated the class 77 formally graduated. That was my main point as it confirms the fact that Hope's Peak is a two year school which the general consensus has been that it was a three year school. I honestly believe that the Imposter is the true Mitarai and the one we see in Mirai-hen is actually the real imposter. one interesting thing about the Sato incident is that I just assumed that it was spurred on by Junko, or at least influenced by Junko in some way. But apparently it happens before Junko even shows up. So I guess that whole tragedy just happens regardless of Junko and she takes advantage of it once she gets there.

If Fuyuhiko's sister is dead before the 78th class shows up, that means that the Yakuza chick Hagakure refers to in his FTEs and DRIF is probably not Fuyuhiko's sister. She'd be dead before he entered school and before he had his memories wiped.

Well lets think about the implications of that. For that to work, Hagakure had more than two years worth of memories stolen from him, otherwise he'd have realized they were in Hope's Peak Academy. Further, he'd have to have met Fuyuhiko's sister before going to HPA. He couldn't meet her there and be recalling it, because that memory would've been wiped.
I'd have to go back and play DR1, but I'm still skeptical. Junko made a big deal that she took more of Kyoko's memories than everybody else. For this to work, she had to have taken even more of Hagakure's and not said anything about it.

I found the solution, according to the script of both versions, especially during IF, Hagakure responds with "How do you know I extorted money from that girl
related to the Kuzuryu Clan!?" in english and "なんで苗木っちが、俺が暴力団絡みの娘っ子を脅して

I can assume Hagakure got off scot free and got to live simply because Fuyuhiko's sister was already dead at the time and Fuyuhiko most likely was already in despair.

Naegi's luck had little relevance, but I guess thats a superpower.
Komeadas power is that his luck needed to be "traded", bad luck to good luck. Wether or not he can fully control this is not sure, since he managed to get himself lucky at the drawing and the revolver.
Now imagine this, a third lucky student, but his power would be different. Unlike Nagito's luck trading system, this student would have a different operation. It would choose the lowest probability in any situation the student chooses.
Example: Let's say he wanted this person to follow him, he would be a total asshole to this person right? Then the lowest probability would probably the person would end up liking him.
Theres some drawbacks though, like if he DIDN'T want to get killed, he would make himself very killable, like sleeping outside cottages, in order for his luck to choose the lowest probability that he will survive.
It's a bit OP though.. I want to find a way to tone it down a bit.

Actually, I think Makoto's luck works kind of like Nagito's, he just doesn't really believe in it/doesn't abuse it. Like, he was unlucky to get stuck in a killing game, but was lucky to survive and defeat the mastermind. Also in DR Zero he was unlucky to be held as a hostage by that bodyguard guy(s), but was lucky to be saved by Mukuro, etc.

I just noticed something off with HPA timeline given to us.
Killer Killer's events is placed before DR2 right? Yet we see the fake Makoto looking like DR3 Makoto with the shorter hair when he should still have had his longer hair as the DR2 epilogue showed us.

Either earlier this thread or later last thread I read something that made me think I've been misunderstanding something about DR this whole time.
Is School Mode/Island Mode NOT the same set of conversations as FTEs? I always just sort of assumed it was, but if I'm wrong, my goodness. All the new content I've yet to explore.
But if that IS the case, how would you get the unique conversations in School/Island Mode? If I play DR2 and hang with, say, Nidai until I have 3 Hope Fragments, by the time I get to Island Mode, I can't have conversations 1-3 again... can I?
