It literally is marginal. The crit rate is pretty nice, but that's basically it. If you want HP, you can get similar amounts on other necklaces. Other necklaces give more damage. Other necklaces give similar SPR. Sure, Petamion gives them all in one package, but aside from the crit rate, they barely mattered anyways. 1k HP? 14 Attack (which you can get more of on other necklaces)? A bit of accuracy / evasion, a bit of MP? Sure, it's basically the best necklace in the game, but necklaces fucking suck. Getting the effects of 5 necklaces isn't worth 10m when any one of those necklaces individually is worth maybe 200k.

Different anon here, I usually taunt and stay behind DPS but infront of healer. usually i make it my duty to use my knock back skills to prevent them from reaching the healer while pushing them towards the DPS. no one has complained about this before but I feel like it keeps my knock back from messing up the DPS.

Blocking increases Umbo Blow damage to be somewhat worthwhile. That's basically it.
Also blocking increases Block and Defense by a large amount, so it's good against big crowds of physical damage enemies or against bosses if you don't want to move out of the way of an attack - the most efficient way to deal damage as a Pelt is to stand still and tap C whenever an attack is about to hit you. Moving wastes precious DPS time. Which doesn't matter, because you're a Swordsman and don't have DPS.

So i am doing my homeworks and i got poisons don't crit but scales on physical attack which is boosted by either STR and weapon enchancing but going STR/CON will make me lose both evasion and crit for the other circles like Musketeer/Cannoneer which if i got it right seems to benefit more from heavy DEX builds.
Tl;Dr: if i make a poison master who snipe fags with a musket too should i roll for full DEX with some CON to not get killed by a single attack or an hybrid like DEX/STR 2:1 is better on the longer run?

If you're set on Musketeer + Wugushi. Wugu3 isn't fantastic and Rogue means you have a high crit rate without needing to dump into DEX, so you'll be able to dump into STR for good poison.
The Ranger circles can be whatever, but Steady Aim carries over well into Musketeer because you can actually use it with Rifles, and Barrage + Feint will be a nice little bonus damage combo while you grind to R7. Crit Shot's okay with high STR.
