Vanille's good staff (Physician's Staff) isn't on our banner, only the JP one, but won't appear in events anytime soon because we follow JP banners otherwise.... so her future is... shall we say.... looking bad in the short term. If you need a decent Medica, the one on Wyrmfang is just fine though.
And then you get your choice between 2 Bard/Dancers.... Kefka's is a Magic Boost, which are super rare and never bigger than a "small" boost, so if you do wanna run a Mage Party, thats a very solid item.

Edea has an even SHITTIER Mind than him and doesn't have that luxury.
To put it into prespective how bad Edea's MND is, it is two points lower than that of the Core BERSERKER at level 50.
It is one point higher than that of the fucking ONION KNIGHT at level 50, and his entire gimmick is having the absolute shittiest stats in every regard until you push him to max level and he suddenly slingshots into stellar across the board stats.

For all the random shit I've seen talked about the Long Night hack I expected it to be much worse, I'm having a great time with it. Just did borzoi quests and gonna do some story now up to pre-ultima. Haven't encountered any bullshit yet.

Holy used to be bad because it was redundant and major orbs were scarce. Now majors are pretty common and bosses have high enough res that the damage doesn't go to waste. It's a good luxury hone once you have Saint Cross and Full Break honed and a great asset to Cid's missions where not having enough damage is an actual possibility.

Besides, Saint Cross is limited by wind orbs and I have yet to hone Thief's Revenge and Full Charge to R3 so by the time I have enough of them to make a second Saint Cross, I'll have more than enough holy orbs. Yeah I'm in the same boat with Garnet being my WHM. Divine Guardian is basically just good enough that you can't easily replace her with anything but basically Wall, and even then you lose Hastega.
Vanille is perfectly capable of using Rods, though, so you could just equip the Wizard Rod on her if Garnet has learned the SB.

Meteor isn't honed (I use R5 Maduin and Valefor instead) and that's Sanguine Cross, not Dark Zone (the latter is at R3). My A team has no mages on it but I like to be prepared and I've brought a mage or summoner along to U and U+ fights on numerous occasions.
Because I'm not a Redditor I don't subscribe to the idea that the overall strongest strat is always the best for every situation. For Cid's missions in particular diversity is key and I've been preparing for them since they were introduced in JP.

Yeah I have her using Alexander too, with her RM3 equipped. She gets plenty of MAG though to make use of him since she's "primarily" a Summoner. Having her with Divine Guardian basically was enough for me to have no reason to draw on the Summoner Lucky Draw.

I've had Genji Armor from V for a while. It's pretty good (unless when you need RES), and even has some minor Confusion resist. I mostly like it cause it's Gilgamesh related. Was an off-banner result when I was pulling for a Light Armor, so I settled for it.

What magic where you getting hit by? And it's not that surprising that it did shit damage, RWs aren't affected by party buffs like Shout. The SB itself is actually fairly strong though, just 0.1 lower potency than Fenrir Overdrive.

Nah, there are enemy skills not named Thundaga, Holy, etc. that are classified as BLK/WHT. It's something you'd have to look up info on the fight to really know, though.
It's not an effect that will change the whole game or anything, but it shuts down some Ultimate fights.
Cagnazzo is an example of a fight that gets completely trivialized by Runic.

I managed to grind out 20 myth yesterday and I'm not close to being a new player. I just do so much dailies and have only been doing 5-10 classic dungeons a day. Switched to elite and noticed I had a lot of easy ones I haven't touched, each giving me 2 stamina. So every 2.5 dungeons I filled my stamina enough for 2 more dungeons. So only had to wait for the .5 worth of stamina to refill before maxing out again. Feels good.

I don't need to. I have all the essentials and while I do want some of those phase 4 relics, it's mostly because they're strong. The XIV relics are something I want because I'm invested in the game and love XIV's monks (and white mage obviously since thats what I main) so they mean more to me. Bartz's BSB is the only thing on banner 4 with similar value to me and the odds of pulling that are slim.
The best thing about being well off in this game is that you can pull for what you want in your heart and not what you want just to get stronger!

I honestly think her SSB is her worst SB and would prefer Thyrus & the Robe over the Omnirod thing. It's a nice combo of abilities on that SSB sure, but why that's an SSB when both her others are literally among the top tier of their kind I'll never understand, and the effects of the SSB are actually fully replicable with regular abilities (once we have Angelsong aswell, at least)

Her SSB is easily better than Medica II outside fringe cases where the Esuna is really helpful (why doesn't Medica II give regen anyway?). Pairs excellently with SG for those who have it (just like SS2 pairs excellently with Tyro's BSB, which is the combo I've got on JP) and saves up to 2 skill slots while also granting heavy regen. It's insanely good for anyone with either Shout or SG. Medica II really isn't very good overall as far as heals go though it's situationally very powerful.
