I just spent the last 6 hours deconstructing the old deer pen and reconstructing a NEW deer pen, in the dark, because my Aunts got into a scuffle with the stepdaughter of the guy who lent us the pen because the stepdaughter brought her kids onto our property uninvited
I had no problem with it, they were just looking at the baby deer and my aunts blew up about it and apparently the daughter took that as a slight against her and fuck it shit rolls down hill so there you go. More work for me, but they're moved and happy in their new pen in fresh grass and better shade.

Actually it's mainly KS, a video game, that taught me there is more to life. I used to wake up, Attend class, not talk to anyone, go home, study, go play games, go to sleep. But know I talk. I socialize. Not because I want a romantic partner or need one. It's their choice wether they want me or not. But because I wanted to become a better person. I now run the drama council, have 8-10 good friends, exercise daily, take time to look at the sky, etc. All because KS taught me you start from where you start but you can always move up. Hisao managed to improve his physical health with Emu, his emotional health with Lilly, his ambition and goals with Shizzle, his compassion and pessimist attitude with Han-Solo and his creativity and philosophical side with Rin. He didn't start from the bottom nor did he start near the top but he improved as a person. I think KS is a beautiful game because it's as much about your relationship with the waifus and their problems as it is fixing Hisao and helping him come to terms with his life. I IRL have a genetic disorder which severely dampens my immune system. I have to take booster that are slowly become less effective. I will probably die 20-30 years earlier but I don't care. Because it means I'll just have to work harder. Make things happen. Do what you want when you want. Don't hesitate. Heck you may have terminal cancer and die within 2 years but do something with that time. You may not get a job or a nice house but you can do other things. Write some good movie scripts. Compile some music. Paint some shit. Make a game or two. Do your best with what you've got because you can always do something.

I'd suggest grisaia no kajitsu. All the main characters have some degree psychological issues as well as the protag. Also, the sequel is just about to be released in english.

The first play though, yeah, it's pretty damn long. Once you read the common route though, it gets pretty much cut in half. It's also absolutely hilarious but with some pretty strong feels. I'd say it's in my top 5 of VN's I've completed.
