I've ignored ADCs raging in chat demanding I switch off Vel'koz. Then I go into lane and get a double kill without their help. And if they accuse me of ks'ing I start cs'ing and pushing the lane exceptionally hard to force a tower take and start roaming. I don't even say anything. The faster I can force a tower take the faster I can get away from the ADC and win the game.
The biggest obstacle to a support helping the team is never the enemy. It's always the friendly ADC demanding their hand getting held.
I've given up that philosophy a long time ago. I don't even feel bad leaving them in a 1v2 to make plays elsewhere if they can't give up their CS addiction. It's on them. Not me. There's a reason I'm winning so many games and it isn't because I'm getting carried by marksmen.

Marksman skill scales pretty linearly with rank, at least in gold. Especially if you get a p4 marksman they're usually actually worth helping out.

I've luckily been running Soraka/Morgana/Leona and they require a lot of the ADC's cooperation, but the good thing about all three of them is that if I don't get the ADC to follow up I can easily disengage myself (via soraka's Q or E, Morgana's everything, and Leona's general tankiness.) If they suck I wander around with Jungle to help him or throw wards everywhere on objectives and help him take those, since they're infinitely needed more and more these days.
I'll never question someone's support choice unless I legitimately believe they can't support (like Support Sejuani, for instance). I've seen some crazy shit in my little ELO hell. (seriously, a Xin Support)

How to harass as Wukong:
Against weak early: auto -> Q -> (-> auto ->) E -> W or keep hitting them if you're not taking much damage.
Against lane bullies: E -> Q -> W, if they punish you try E -> W instead, if they still punish you farm under your tower like a bitch and pray for a gank. Avoid losing health at all costs so you can be useful when the jungler comes and they won't get the idea of diving you.
Against everything else: E -> Q -> W
As soon as your opponent is low on health you can attempt to kill them. Don't attempt to kill them if you don't have mana left.
Only harass when you're sure the enemy jungler isn't waiting for you to use your W, or you'll die a lot.
Start ganking with your ult as soon as you can. Get a black cleaver at some point. Playing like an assassin with an almost full damage build is more effective than playing like a tank, you have to know when to ult and not fear dying to maximize your chances to win a teamfight.
Or pick Olaf, buy righteous glory, and run at the enemy to kill them with balanced true damage and immunity to CC.
Kennen is also good but gets dumpstered by some picks.

You can tell if maokai leashed and if graves started top.
You should be aware of the possibility of a level 2 cheese.
If you don't want to ward early you need to play back far enough that flashing will get you out alive, as rank 1 mao W is only a 1 second root.
When playing top you need to be aware of how fast/what times junglers will be roughly done with camps and looking to gank, then look at it from the junglers point of view and think "If maokai flash W's here, can we kill him?" if the answer is maybe or yes, and graves would be done with red and on his way to your lane, you're too far up.

To harass an opponent, is it better do make plants grow with E or Q? Let's say that I hit both E and Q, do I plant the seeds and let them grow by getting hit by E, or do I wait until E hit, and then make them grow using Q?
I see the damage is the same, but while Q has longer range, E has a slow.

Finally got frustrated with this and just started playing him. He can literally do nothing all game but sooner or later he will land a hook and win you a teamfight/dragon/baron. Does even matter if he's behind.
