Farm grapes. Make grape juice. Sell for big bucks. Vendors on the server are buying all kinds of not so rare loots. Just check town for what people want. For example, orc vouchers go for a good amount and are easy to get in bulk.

I reached 175/60 on iRO Chaos yesterday. Let me tell you about suffering.
So at 141+ if you were a certain class you can form a party (non-shared but if you were lucky enough you may find a 160+ shared party) and venture into the great Biolabs. First you have to finish the Biolabs quest line to gain quick access to Biolabs 4 via talking to the bard right outside of the slums.
A party consists of 2+ Rune Knights, 1+ Ranger, 1+ Generic, 2 Archbishops, 1 Maestro, 1 Wanderer, and 1 Sorcerer. The rest can be filled by more Rune Knights or Rangers or can be an alt.
Here comes the hard part: finding a party. If you were a Maestro, Wanderer or Sorcerer you'll probably get an invite instantly. If you weren't, you're going to wait, up to several hours or maybe not even get into a single party.
Once you get a party, pray that it's good. If the party sucks, it will disband after 1 run (150 counts of Bio4 mobs) and you will have to wait all over again.

Took me around 2 weeks from level 130-ish to 175. That's with the double exp event for iRO 13th anniversary. The amount of time I actually spent leveling was probably not even 5 days of gameplay. I've spent hours each day just waiting for a party instead of actually leveling.
The server is dead as it is. Around 3k players at peak and more than half of them doesn't understand English. Finding a performer or Sorc will take a party hours and sometimes a party will disband after waiting too long.
tl;dr? Ragnarok Online is dead. Move on to another game. Unless you want to play on some shitty private server that may or may not last over 3 months.

Well, you don't just find randoms. The thing is ever since I made my first character I've been meeting people, and those who were friendly I put on my friendlist. Then, now that I'm big and strong (and that took a while) I have a massive list of people I know aren't retarded.
The next step is actually talking to them and co-ordinating a time together, just like real life. I get that's not accurate to the iRO experience but it works and I've never had a big problem getting people to do stuff. Endless Tower would be the only time you have to be really specific about party set-up, and even then I'd find some randoms and set a time with them in the future, since that has the highest chance of success.
If you ever played EQ or FFXI those games require you to have a party to do anything, and you have to use that method to get stuff done otherwise you'll be ruined by people leaving, because they're uncertain about the future of the party.
