BS doesn't always work correctly when some targets are in the next tile unless they have line of sight from the door. DE messed with that because that was a factor in bladestorm breaking, along with enemies getting killed by someone else while you are stabbing it. That's why DE wants to make it so your clones do all the work and you no longer join in, so that people can actually do something to the shit you marked with bladestrom and not have to stand there for 10 seconds as you stab that Ancient Disruptor 12 times for 1/3rd its health.

It's a step in the right direction. Encourages embarking with a team, and behaviour not common eslwhere in the game (to not just run through everything), coupled with the reworked sabotage, and it allowing multiple aproaches, it is realy nice.
Though the rewards are dogshit, and the lifeblood of it is trying to keep it fresh with new/reworked tiles to hide shit in, both of which issues will never be adressed, hence the idea suffering the same fate as the rest of the game due to neglience: Players get bored of it, "solve" it (find out the most optimal way to deal with it), which results in a kneejerk reaction from DE that doesnt adress the above core problems, and just invalidates the current "optimal" methods, make it not worth it at all.

They removed coptering after they said it was part of their game and there was no getting around it.
The game now plays really slow with no means of going faster or having fun. The ability to use these gimmicky bullshit movement things is just not fun. It isn't, not even a little bit.
I am fucking sick of this. Changing the way you move and making it worse is a heinous act. You can nerf a gun, you can nerf a Warframe. You can add lunaro and ignore real problems.
But when you unilaterally change how the game is played for the worse by making the direct method of engagement unbearably unfun and limited, you ruin the entire fucking game.
When you were wall running before the changes you could master and feel out how your momentum would carry you and how far you would go. The new system provides none of that feedback and is just wildly unpredictable and hard to use because the visual and mechanical feel of the move is fucked.
Coptering took actual skill if you wanted to move as fast as possible. To navigate a level that is randomly generated moving as fast as you could, having to identify and memorize tiles, that took skill.
But they wanted to slow you down to actually "play" the "game".

Nothing is mememoves 2.0 allows you to go fast. Everything in the system is hard to control and lack both visual feedback and control feedback.
Everything is floaty and random. Having a character bounce like a retard instead of having them start fast, moving far then slowing down and beginning to sink/move down, that is a good method of showcases and implementing advanced movement. The visual feedback of the old wall running through those listed visual cues above allowed for you to learn and manipulate the momentum carried off wall running. This also applied to flipping and coptering.

I hate air gliding. Dive shooting was always a thing and by slowing your stupid ass down midair it becomes incredibly jarring to attempt to shoot while in midair because you're falling much much slower than you are moving horizontally.

The worst thing about parkour2.0 is that bulletjumping has this offset which they still haven't fixed, and that you get stuck at the tiniest amount of geometry. Want to hop up that wall? Too bad, the railing on top sticks two inches out, which translates into an impassable barrier for wallrunning/hopping.

I'm just getting into Equinox and a little lost about how to be effective besides just buffing allied power strength. Is that just activating Maim, killing a lot of shit with a high damage weapon, then releasing it as a nuke? Or does the bleed proc eventually get powerful?
