I'm not sure what to think of Xuanzang.
Charges up NP fast, also helps with stargen and NP gen for party. Actually has a bit of stargen to her, probably due to no crappy Caster animations.
The NP itself is rather disappointing. Great animation, good stuff. But only 30k damage on a non-Assassin and 70k on an Assassin mob, not very great. But as expected of a Caster.

You're probably not going to use her in anything but all-Caster comps to deal with Assassin enemies unless you're really hurting for an NP-spamming single target Servant, but being the only one to fill that niche makes her good anyway.
