Hanzo's about timing and pre-firing. He's like, the hardest hero in the game bar Genji. You have to play him like a sniper and a DPS at the same time, but if you're on your game you end up being Soldier 76 with no damage falloff. Also, scattershot is way more hilarious than helix rockets. Oh but you'll also have entire teamfights where you don't hit shit. The pros complain about that in particular.
You don't have to aim too far down unless you're countersniping Widowmaker, as a general rule. Arrow fires from your belly button though, so aiming slightly high is a good idea. Prefiring is the key, you need to learn good pieces of cover on the maps and try to predict where the enemy will come into view so that you can one-shot them and give a dank killcam of you firing a random arrow and staring at the wall. It looks retarded, it feels retarded, but it's probably the thing that takes longest to master besides headshots on Genji shurikens.
You'll also find out that there's little curbs and bumps in the ground on certain maps that'll make your scatter shot go a completely different direction than it's supposed to.
Nothing like the rush of hunting people down and killing em. I mean my hearts beating, my hands are shaking, but I'm still shooting. It's like boom headshot, boom headshot, BOOM HEADSHOT!

As far as Overwatch goes, I don't really know why you'd want to watch anyone other than seagull. Widowmaker can be a team player if you can actually play her well, zone areas instead of going for meme plays, use ult correctly, "remember" that she has "venom mines" that do "75 damage in AOE" and are "very good in chokepoints", use the SMG in close fights to give some extra power, and in general not act like a greedy piece of human garbage.Zenyatta is also pretty much a sniper already, just don't say it out loud too often. 200 health incoming, probably. Or you can have fundamentals, play a relatively flexible pool of heroes, and be better than a one-note player because you can play to the map and the enemy team. Sometimes having any dipshit playing Winston is the right move because they're sitting half-assed on the rooftop of somewhere and Winston in general will make their lives difficult better than the Roadhog that has terrain-based issues on certain maps.

I'm doing this, I felt bad at first but fuck it, it's just quick play. I drove Pharah to the great heights of pub MMR and now I'm driving it straight back down because I want to learn Genji. I suck shit but what am I going to do, only play Pharah for the next 1000 hours without ever trying anyone new? It's not like I'm gonna do that shit in ranked. Quick play is for dicking around.

Which tank would folks suggest getting gud at.
Ideally Winston, Zarya, or Roadhog because there's 8000 Reinhardts and D.Vas.
Roadhog I find the most interesting but I've been having trouble performing well as him. I mean I can survive, I do my best to hook anyone who doesn't want to be hooked, but I can't seem to get the "protecting my team" aspect quite down
