Let's talk writing, /5N@F/. When you're writing a story, how do you set up a scene? I normally start off with a character doing something mundane before moving into dialogue or action, but I've seen people jump straight in to good effect.

That's how I did it back when I wrote the green where Mike went to work at Dino Dan's after getting fired from Freddy's.
I think because of the setting at Freddy's, just hopping in can be seen as standard, like the story starting when Mike is slamming on the button to stop a bot or running away from one.

Usually with something that sets up the scene. A character's thoughts, some exposition, something about the scene's environment, some excerpt about the past that's relevant, that kind of stuff. I also think about the narrator and how they tell a story, to adjust how the scene is laid out for the reader. It's also good to consider tone, so as to better set the atmosphere you require (if applicable) for a given scene.

Don't know if I can agree with you on that. Drawing by itself does take time to grasp, but when it happens it becomes easy. Writing involves blending elements of literature, pace, whatnot into one piece. Sometimes, it's never the finished product and takes a second glance to make it better.

They would also denote the look of terror upon the helmet of the fox-thing.

Diff anon, but I heard that CDF left because of some internal skype drama and the release of Undertale. I think the thread tensions catalyzed her departure, but I think she was going to jump ship to the next fad anyways, as she completely burned all the bridges with Ghost and the FNoSO team afterwards, had BBGM delete all her stuff from the booru, and from a screencap somebody posted, pointed out that she did something similar to this before when she was in /dag/ with putting on a "comfy girl" act with "movie nights" and other comfy/friendly stuff until the facade slips or a new fad comes along where she cries about being bullied and hops onto the next bandwagon.I don't have the pic, but it was a screencap of posts dug up from the foolz archive

"Yes," said the yellow bird. Her eyes followed the fingers in rapt attention.
"Okay. You see my thumb?" Jeremy said, pointing to his thumb with his other thumb.
"Yes," Chica said, albeit with a hint of skepticism in her voice. She had heard of this technique from her peers numerous times, but never actually believed them. A human could not possibly possess such power... Right?
Jeremy took a deep breath.
"Okay. Here it comes." He created a claw shape with his thumb and index finger, and reached out toward's Chica's beak. They gripped the end of Chica's beak.
Jeremy grinned, and said "Gotch yer no-" as he pulled back and ripped off Chica's beak.
A moment of silence followed. Chica looked down at her beak in stunned disbelief, which was connected by wires to the jaw. Jeremy didn't just take off her beak. He took off part of her body. The wires fritzed and fratzed and krackled and spat, some having been severed by Jeremy's act of brutality.
Jeremy backed away while extending his hand, with the jaw still in it. "I-I'm sorry," he stuttered.
Chica's fingers probed the inside of her endoskeletal jaw. Some teeth had been pulled out by the jaw removal, or jarred loose.
Chica ran down the hallway and stood on stage. She warned her peers to never go near the Jeremy human ever again, for within him resided immense power that may haunt their darkest dreams. Jeremy took the beak home and kept it in a drawer for the rest of his life, which was admittedly pretty short because he got mauled by a pitbull in the tragic incident that is often referred to as the "Bite of 87".
He died of toxic crystallization within his catheter the following week.
