Considering the Game will be released in about a year, the lack of gameplay footage is concerning.
It doesnt forebode well, I hope they still show some gameplay or there will be a great possibility that they fucked it all up. remember, currythunder is the gameplay designer.
Soo, the last time I played through all ME's I got all the DLC for ME3 and played through everything without any issue, but now, I get the "Cannot validate these DLC, connect with the account that purchased it" shit in Origin. I just need to play offline? How do I "validate" it?
My biggest fear however is the degree of SJW stuff in the game. I fear they will blatantly push these "special" characters in your face, making them unlikeable. Just imagine ah whole crew of SJW faggot of which you will like none.
I highly doubt it we will get another Zaeed, Jack or Garrus.

So I had this brilliant idea that we'd do this epilogue thing where you could play as Shepard in the ending he or she picked and either just hang around the apartment or be on vacation with your love interest. To be able to give everyone a proper goodbye you know? Anyway, when I pitched the idea to Casey while he was over for dinner at my house he just silently got up, threw his plate still full of food in the trashcan. Before I had time to say anything he'd already begun to walk towards me and my wife with completely emotionless eyes. I didn't know what to say. He took my wife by her neck and slapped her harder than I had ever seen anyone get slapped before, he started shouting "WHY IS YOUR HUSBAND SUCH A FUCKING DWEEB?" over and over again as he continued slapping her.

There's something I've been wanting to get off my chest for a long time and due to the anonymity of this social media platform I thought that I might as well post it here. It's a breach in my NDA and it's just a taboo to talk about in the game industry in general but I thought that I'd come out of the closet and tell the story that needs to be told.
You guys listening? Good. See this might sound strange to you but if you keep listening I think it will start to make sense. It all started out after we finished the second Mass Effect game. We hardly finished that project at all, after finishing all the sidequests we had to throw together the main plot during an coffebreak. We just couldn't deal with another miss managed disaster like that again but we were on a tight deadline and we all had a writers block. We couldn't get a single word down. It might have helped if we had planned the trilogy from the start but we had no ideas at all on how to end it.
I'd rather not go into detail about the madness we experienced in the first month. I often get asked questions about my time at Bioware, from fans, from the press and from colleagues. I'm very happy to answer any questions now that my employment at Bioware is now long since terminated and I have a successful career in the fast food industry.
One of the more misguided questions I get asked is why we kept firing people between projects, some people have attributed this to a perceived drop in quality. Now the truth is that we didn't fire anyone, they just kept leaving us, no matter how welcoming we tried to be.
Let's take Chris El Toilette or whatever the name of the guy was. He was an writer early on but he never quite fit in at the company. When we would snort coke from the asses of twelve year old prostitutes at a teambuilding event he just awkwardly stood in a corner and refused to join in. He kept reading scifi genre fiction trash on his lunch breaks and I'd slap the book out of his hand over and over again until he stopped acting as such a manchild and sat down with Evil Chris who felt lonely. He just never fit in at the company.
So when it came to extending his contract I gave him one last chance, I unzipped my pants in my performance interview with him, gave him a wink and patted my massive erection knowingly. He just didn't get the hint. Thankfully Mac Walters had fallen asleep underneath the table after our previous session and was able to deal with the matter.
So yeah, there are just people you can't keep for some reason or another. There are so few professionals out there.

ME3 ends with a galaxy-shaking conclusion that changes everything forever. Either you have giant killing machines now being allies with you, being thrown directly to the end of the evolutionary tree or end up with no mass relays or AI of any kind.
They'd have to write 3 different stories for a game that picked up after the 3rd, or just pick one for canon (which people tend to hate because "choices didn't matter" and all that mumbojumbo).

I want a game that explores themes in a meaningful way, I couldn't give less of a shit about how it affects the metaplot .
Making it a detached sidequel to ME3 will just end up as a excuse for making it a shitty rehash with palette-swapped cardboard cutouts serving as totally-new-we-swear """""aliens""""" instead of owning up to the mess that was the ME3 ending and actually trying to take it in some interesting direction.

Also the 'your choices matter' meme was the single most harmful decision Bioware has ever made and pretending that you can have a fully voice acted AAA game where your choices are actually meaningful is stupid andtoxic.
